Papertrey October Blog Hop Challenge!!!!

I missed last month somehow, but I am so excited to be sharing with you today for the PTI Blog Hop! The challenge was to
There is always a lot of focus on Christmas in our industry this time of year, as that is what the majority of the population celebrates. However, this month's blog hop is dedicated to those that celebrate winter holidays other than Christmas. Create a project that celebrates Hanukkah, Kwanzaa or some other winter holiday as we embrace everyone's beliefs in a celebration of diversity through paper crafting.

Here is my creation
Well, as you can see I am celebrating winter! I adore the fun sets Heather designed a few years ago and don't seem to get them out nearly enough, so this was perfect! Actually if there was a mitten die I might use these cuties for some mass producing LOL!
It is hard to see in the picture, but there is some glitz on every mitten and then a strip by the sentiment as well. I used this weeks CPS sketch and the Curtain Call for my inspiration. Have a great day hopping!

Praying for you!

I am so excited to play along with the Curtain Call for this week. When I saw these beauties I knew I just had to bust out some fun stamps.
Here is my card
Didn't this card turn out fun? I was so excited to break out Damask Designs. It is one of those sets I keep coming back to again and again. For me the funny thing is I didn't even like it and didn't buy it for a few months after I had it. If you haven't taken the plunge yet, it is a must do!!!!!
Also, you will see a lot of praying for you, thinking of you cards soon. I have a lot of friends who are going through some major hurdles right now. Hope you all are going to have a crafty weekend!

Okay, not a ton of stamping, but hopefully it will work LOL! I made this for my Aunt who is in the hospital with some cancer related issues. Hopefully little Cece will brighten her day. She makes the best faces ever!

Should be

Loving these fun colors from Colour Q. I am going to make another fun halloween card as well, so more goodness to come.
Here is my card
This was also for a Unity WCMD challenge to make a card using no patterned paper. Right away I knew a sleek one sheet card work work out great. I then scored with a score pal to add some fun interest. I colored the you in rich razzleberry marker, the hearts are all in pumpkin pie and the should is in old olive. Tons of fun for this card.

CPS sketch time!

It is time for some CPS sketch fun. We just got back from our Disney vacation and it was sure a lot of fun for us. Here is the sketch for the week.
Here is my card
I combined this with two challenges from SPC. The first was from Unity to stamp on fabric. I chose to stamp on twill. I hadn't done this in I don't know how long, so it felt good. The second was to make a card that had a lot of flowers. This is for the SCS Hope You Can Cling challenge for WCMD and Breast Cancer patients. Super fun. I am going to warn all of you great bloggers out there that I am working on making all 23 Unity challenge cards, which means you are going to be seeing tons of the same set. It has actually been a lot of fun to challenge myself to get super creative with one stamp set.

Right where you should be

This fun card was for a sweet sunday sketch and a few world card making day challenges. The fun just keeps on going! I did the untity challenge to make a shaker card and Ellen Hudson's challenge to Glitz it up.
Here is my card

Can you see the shaker part? Well for this one my plan was to use dazzling diamonds, but I am almost out, so I had to improvise. I busted out the irrodecent ice. It worked just the same, which was tons of fun.

I hadn't made a shaker in quite some time, but it was a good time. Love the ribbon as well and the dsp was from the spring mini catalog. It has all kinds of bright colors, but I like I can also do this type of color scheme as well.

Fabulous!

Thank you curtain call for this fabulous challenge. I haven't busted out my cajun craze yet and this was the perfect opportunity to do so. I am still working on WCMD challenges. This was a unity challenge to do some paper piercing and then I did an Ellen Hudson challenge to use inchies.
Here is my card
These colors are fabulous! I did some paper piercing with the leaves in old olive. There is tons of spounging on this beauty, which really looks better in real life. I will have more later!

Happy Pink Hollidays

WCMD is such a fun time and it makes me want to stamp, stamp, stamp! One of the great things for a crafter like me is all of the fabulous challenges. I adore a good challenge LOL! This is for the CPS challenge this week. I also am doing the Hope You Can Cling To Challenge at SCS.
Here is my card
The challenge from SPC was to make a holiday card with Pink! Not my go to holiday color, but it was really fun to streach myself. I have also really enjoyed checking out Ellen Hudson's blog and this will be entered in her make a Christmas card challenge as well. I won't have a lot of chatter this week as there will be LOTS of posts and I want to keep uploading the funness, LOL.

{happy birthday}

Happy Birthday to Colour Q!!! I am so excited they are celebrating 1 year. I must say this is one of my all time favorite color challenges. Not only are the color combos fresh and fun, but I adore the fun graphic they have for our blogs as well.

For this challenge they had us pick a past color combo and then use the following sketch to create the card this week. I choose this challenge from seek 17. It was one I hadn't done yet, so I was super excited about working on it.
Here is the sketch challenge
My card
Sorry about this picture, I took it at night. The background is created by using PTI polka dot basics. Don't you think a birthday card is perfect for this challenge, Happy Birthday Colour Q and many more.

Butterflies

This card was made for Cammie's card drive found here. It is a wonderful card drive for those who care for patients of Alzheimers. I feel that nrusing is a very underappreciated carrier and if I can send a card and give a smile, that is fabulous for me!

For this card, I combined a few challenges the first is the sketch from the CAS blog. I love their sketches.
Here is the fun challenge from embellish magazine.
Here is my card
This is also for the stamp tv challenge to make your background and your main image from the same stamp set. As you all know I LOVE background stamps, so it was challengeing to find a set that I could use for a background and the main image as well. I used copic markers to color on the back side of the vellum.

Appreciation

I am so excited to share this fun card with you. There are going to be tons of cards on this little blog over the next few days! This is the fabulous world card making day and for my challenge loving heart this is going to be the best few days ever!

First off, I had to make a card with this fun color combo. The recipe of the card is from the stamp tv challenge found here.
Here is my card
Isn't this fun? I made this for my mother since she is going to be helping us with our baby Cece for a few days. This sentiment came from PTI's wish big. I don't know what took me so long to get this fabulous set into my home. It has quickly become a go to for me. The sentiments are to die for! Okay the cutie hand with the baby hand, perfect for this occasion. I can't have too much chatter since it is WCMD and I have a few other cards I want to get up tonight.

Happy Birthday

Don't you just love the colors on this weeks curtain call challenge? I don't always get to play during the week, but I was able to whip up this fun card for my Dad's birthday.
I combined it with the fun Sweet Sunday sketch challenge from Karen. This week you had to go back through all of the old sketches and pick your favortie. That was fun as well. I actually have a few more I want to do as well. I will keep you posted on that.
Here is my creation
What do you think? I am loving the soft suede on saraha sand. It is so much fun. I did keep the top simpler than the sketch, hopefully it will be fine. The last little tip I found on a blog was about layering with the PTI dies. Some said to flip the die over and trace it on your paper then cut and the result would be a fun layer. Wow am I loving this suggestion! I also love the pop the black layers gave this card.
