Love is in the air

This weeks MIM is like getting a second chance. For me it is a second chance to actually enter LOL! I made some cards for the challenge that never made it to the blog to enter. Crazy! This beauty was one example. I made it for the challenge of having the stamp on both sides of the die cut. It really was interesting to think that way.  If you would like to enter, you can do so here.

Little Tangles Challenge

I am so excited about having time to play with the challenge this week, my first. I am going to send this cutie to my girlfriend who sent in a Christmas card that she is pregant. She is on the list for not letting me know sooner LOL!

It was a great color challenge that you can find here at the little tangles blog.
I only have two stamp sets, but I have enjoyed them both.  They have a fun and fresh kind of vibe.  I listened to a video done a while ago by the owner and I loved the new york accent and I hear it everytime I break this stamp out.  It is called Just Hello.  I also hear the call me maybe song when stamping with this one.  What a riot LOL!

Have a great day!

White Challenge PTI Blog Hop

It feels good to be joining the PTI blog hop again found here. The challenge was to use mostly white. It was a lot of fun. On a side note, vellum doesn't like stickles (or at least my PTI velum cardstock didn't). I really liked the card until I added stickles. Love the glitz, but it warped the hearts. Yikes! This cutie will still be going to my hubby, warped hearts or not :)

I also am entering this into the MIM challenge this week found here.  I totally missed the layered die cut week and was glad to do that now.

I did like thinking about different ways to add interest and texture to the white card.

CASual Friday/10 minute challenge

Here is my favortie card of the day and last one for the CASual Friday found here/10 mintue challenge found here. It was a holiday theme. I decided to make this fun glitz card for my parents. They have started a new tradition where they have the little girls over for their own New Years Day count down. The kids LOVE it and I wanted to mail them a little pre party card. This card was done in 5 minutes and 49 seconds. Super fun! I stamped the hero arts sentiment in black then used my glue pen to add dots of glue in the exposed holes in the sentiment then added the glitz.  It just feels festive and New Yearsy to me.

MIM-die cuts

Okay, MIM is another great challenge found here that I don't get to enter in near enough. I had to make some tags for a bunch of Christmas gifts. Here is my take on the challenge.

I used the pointsettia die and choppend that cutie up. I used a piece of copy paper cut with the same die so that I had something to line up all of the pieces. I made 6 of these. I used distress ink to ink these up and also the background. Izzy LOVES playing with these inks. She acutally helped with all of the tags we made.

Paper smooches take 2

Here is my last shot at the papersmooches sparks challenge.  It is hard to see on this little gift card holder, but the green color is in the hat and the buttons of this cute little one. I also added some fun razzle dazzle.   As always, the paper smooches stamps make me smile!

This was also made with the CASual Friday/10 minute dash challenge found here.  I made this cutie in 6 minutes and 42 seconds.  I started participating in the 10 minute dash challenges a while ago, but they never got put here.  It is really a lot of fun to try it.  I used to make card take one that I loved and was a cas style, but it went over in time.  I had to then pair down and try it again.  It was really fun to challenge myself in this way.

My brother got this one and he seemed to enjoy it, as much as boys do LOL!  We had our Christmas for our family tonight, so it has already started here.

All the posts, all at once LOL!

Okay, I am really loving my job and I am good at it.  I won an Ipad back in the spring.  Ever since that cutie came home, my blogging has seen better days LOL!  I have been up crafting, but I often don't have time to take a picutre and post it here, yikes!

This one was made for the Paper Smooches sparks color challenge this week found here.  I really don't get all of the shadows on this card.  It was for my Dad and his gift card this year.
I must say I am loving the saying in this little set. Can't wait to get these out again.

It's a good life!
