Starry Night

Here is my PTI Stamp a Faire starry night card.  I am so in love with this new way to do night skies.  I love the ink blending and then watercoloring over it.  It made such a fun finished project.  I added some fun splatters as well.  So much fun!!!!

Mom's starry night

Mom is at it again.  This is for the PTI Stamp a Faire challenge for Starry nights.  She used her beloved PTI stamper's select white as a base.  It is so thick and makes a great base for one layer cards.

She added glue dots and glitter along with rhinestones for some sparkly and shinny stars.
Thanks!

Mom's color challenge

My Mom participated in Stamp a Faire today.  She loved carving out the day to create.  She used PTI's stampers select white on her card.  Love all of the colors and how bright the card is.

Color challenges

Here is my take on the inspiration below.  Challenge one of stamp a faire was a color challenge.  Loved the background and paintbrush techniques.  My little bird was fun to put together.

It is well with my soul

Happy Stamp a Faire brought to you by PTI!!!  I must say this is one of my favorite weekends of the year.  I love carving some time to create.  I have been to so many, CHA, Ohio and every year online.  This was my FAVORITE yet!!!  I loved the inspiration from the greats.  I loved getting some stamp sets on the want list.  Really a great weekend.

The first challenge was to pick a favorite creation.  This is a card that has been on my desk for some time.  I adore the water coloring and the look achieved with the zig markers.  The sentiment is really what makes my heart sing.  That is one of my favorite songs and it really calms and centers me.

PTI Blog Hop!!!!

I am so excited to be participating in the PTI blog hop this month.  It was so fun and I was able to incorporate some of the stamp a faire elements into it as well.  I wasn't expecting to love the gold accent segment as much as I did.  Needless to say I went crazy with the tags and chipboard pieces.
I have two cards.  This one I pulled the great colors and the gold elements.  I loved how graphic the picture was.
Love this card as well.  It played with the great melon and gray elements of the card.  I also did some gold splattering on this one.

Background paper used two ways

Loving the online card classes summer camp with creative chemistry.  It has been so much fun to go back through the videos and bust out the supplies and play.  That is what Tim gives you permission to do.  He is a messy crafter and it is so refreshing!  I love the way he plays with color and mixes it up.  So much fun.  I can't wait to participate in the 103 class.  You can learn all about these classes here.
