This one is for my husband's journaling piece and the MIM challenge (it is our anniversary week that I am working on and we are doing a he said she said journaling piece. I have incorporated journaling from the whole family and the kids artwork to this scrapbook. I LOVE it!!!! In fact I have started interviewing the kids and recording their thoughts on certain things (like Cece on marriage). It is an absolute hoot! On a side note, I went with a floral background to mimic our wedding colors and flowers. I will show the page when it is done, it is looking fab!

Journaling card #1
I don't have the white journaling pieces adhered yet. not sure if I like them or not. Any suggestions? As I type this I am thinking maybe the white is too much and to try soft stone?
This is for this weeks MIM style challenge piece for my MM scrapbook.

Watercolor MIM
I usually make a MIM style challenge piece for my MM scrapbook. This week I got this main piece done and two other pieces that will serve as the backdrop for some journaling (I will blog about those in a bit and would love to hear some comments.

PTI Blog Hop
It has been way to long! I adore the PTI blog hops, but I never seem to get my act together on time LOL! I was surprised that this one was so easy to pull together. The picture wasn't really my style, but with Betsy's last kit it was a breeze! I focused on the stitching piece in the center of the inspiration image. I used the canvas for the faux stitching material (not really sure what the name is LOL). I frayed the edges it give it a realistic look.
I first stamped with brush strokes flowers then painted them in. This is also for the MIM challenge.

Craolya Watercolor Paint
I am putting the warning out there now, that I have been LOVING the MIM challenge, so there will be a lot of posts :) This is a series of tags that I made for my coworkers. I played around with the simply scents stamp set from last years stamp a faire. It was a nice to bust it out. I also played around with different color mediums.
This one started out as not the favorite and after everything dried it is the fav for sure. I used traditional watercolor paint. I really don't know how the lines and out lines happened, but it is cool that it did!

Distress Smooching

This was made with smooching distress ink pads on my craft pad and adding water. It got a bit messy, but I do think I like the look.

Here is the distress marker tag. I applied the distress markers to the stamp on this one for the base and then pounced the markers to the image.
