I combined quite a few challenges this morning to put everything together. I really like how it turned out even if the colors are not at all traditional Easter colors. I got my color combo from Kristen Werners Color Challenge #49. Isn't that funky!!! Well I also combined Paper Blooms Challenge #2 which was to decorate a box or basket for Easter. Well Stamp TV's April 3-D Challenge was to make a 3-D item and a card to match. Well isn't it awesome how all of these went together.
Here are the Easter cupcakes Izzy and I made this morning. She loved putting the "grass" and "eggs" on the cupcakes. If you look closely you will see my Ocean Tides Kitchen LOL! It makes the best paint color as well as paper color.
Here is the set.
Cupcake box, I used the MyTimeless Templete called For Keep Sake. Isn't that fun. When I do this again, I would not have put the ribbon and cut out the holes in the top of the box. It is fine, but it looked a little funny to have a bow on top and a knot on the box. I needed the knot on the box to attach the tag, so there you have it LOL!
I really like the card as well. I think it would make a super cute guy's birthday card as well.
It's a good life!
