One moment at a time

Well if I thought that last weeks sketch from Midnight Madness had a lot going on, it was nothing compared to this week. WOW am I pushed out of my comfort zone!!!!! I paired it with the color combo from SPCC, which I was not liking at all until I started playing. I am thinking she is now a geneous, LOL! Here are the challenges.

Here is the sketch - see what I mean about a lot going on LOL!
Here is my card
We had a funeral to go to this week. My cousin's husband passed away at 44. He left his wife and 2 high school girls behind. I made this card for the girls. There really isn't anything I can say, but I have decided I am going on a thinking of you campaign. Maybe some happy mail will help. Needless to say, there will be some lift you up cards on the blog for them from time to time.
Even though the sketch was complicated, I kept my version as simple as I could. I have used dmc floss for the weaving and medium vanilla brads from Stampin Up. I love the Papertrey stamp set With Sympathy. I really think it makes these situations a little easy to create for.
It's a good life!
