I was also able to make a card based on a CPS card sketch that you can see below and a challenge from JoAnne. You can find JoAnne challenge here. You could use all of her favorites or pick a few. I think this will also work well for the GKD color challenge this week.

I busted out my watercoloring supplies after seeing her fabulous tutorial on it. I must say letting it dry completely was the key. Can you see what happened when I got really impatient? Yes the little hearts at the side of the image had color that went out.
Hence the pink hightlights on the outside of the hugabug. Another thing you could add was stiching. I have no idea why I am not busting out my sewing machiene, but I went for the faux stiching. It was also tons of fun to pick out some buttons to finish off the sketch.

ReplyDeleteThis is SO sweet, and yes, I still jump the gun on the next layer sometimes and my project bleeds. You can zap it with a heat gun to speed up the drying time! This is ADORABLE!
