I can't even tell you how awesome the day has been. I have tons of fun cards and it has been the first time in a loooong time I have stamped and made cards. What a hoot!
My interest and creativity started brewing on Monday with the fabulously fun MIM this week. I really liked the roll the dies. I went upstairs and filled out all of the stamp section with stamps from recent releases that haven't seen much if any love. It was so much fun sitting down and only focusing on a few stamps. It also really cut down the planning process because so many of the decisions were already made. I have two more that I did tonight when the girls were going to sleep and I couldn't play videos.
Here is my first MIM card and I was able to incorparate the grosgrain ribbon challenge as well. Seriously, I can never figure out what leaf to put with the knotched flower and this technique was PERFECT for this problem. Super fun! I left the paper upstairs for MIM, but it was sketch #4, I took some liberty with it, but the layout was good. The colors were Orange Zest, Summer Sun, Smokey Shadow, Soft Stone, White and Black. I was supposed to use felt, the button and twine are extras. I had to mix the flip flop and modern wooden mats.
Here is my stamping buddy, Izzy. She had a major developement just tonight, she lost her 6th tooth. Oh, Izzy is on Pintrest in this shot looking for her inspiration photo for her next card LOL! This is one of her most favorite things to do this together. She really picks out some fun and colorful photos.
This was the second pic, do you see the stacks of PTI sets, yeah this is a wonderful addiction. The best part is Izzy loves stamping with me. She has her own wish list LOL!
It's a good life!
