Make it Musey LOL!

I am so excited to be joining a new blog called Muse. It is such a neat concept, you can read about it here. What I love the most is that it is designed to uplift and supoport others. I think that it is so fabulous!

Here is the inspiration card from Amy

Here is my take, I was so inspired by the stripes of pattern paper adn the big flower.  I also really gravitated to the center square element.
While I was thinking about this challenge, it seemed to work well with the Papertrey Ink Make it Monday challenge to do layered embossing.  Layered embossing is acutally a lot of fun.  I have a few more cards I am working on for the blog hop tomorrow.  Layering with clear embossing powder is really harder than one might think.  I had much better luck with the zing colored embossing powder.

Oh, the other great thing about the challenge is that you have to use the supplies you have on hand.  I can't say I have ever run out and purchased new supplies for a challenge, but I loved looking through the mountains of supplies that I have to find pieces that fit.  I must say that it was such an unexpected joy.  I don't think I have used all of the stacks of pattern paper that I have in months and here you go.  It also got me busting out the purple zing that was unused sense now.  Thanks again for the great new challenge blog, if you have time I would really encourage taking a look!

It's a good life!

  4. Hi Terri, The embossed frame looks so subtle and pretty!

I agree with you about the not buying any product for a challenge card. I rarely do but have been known to in the past. I think for me it's more of a resolution to buy less and use up more of my stash. :)
