Welcome back for PTI's MIM about embossing with stencils. I had a lot of fun with this and have a few other cards that will be posted later in the week with more examples.
Today I wanted to share this one. I had a big old pile of Gran's Gardens flowers that I had made a while back and thought lets put some to good use. I used a PTI stencil and embossed just the bottom right hand corner to accent my images.
This card will also be used in the Shopping our stash challenge what's old is new. The sentiment is from PTI the skinny and it is the first time I busted out that stamp set that I got ages ago. I am working hard this year on using what I have and making sure stamp sets are well loved :) The next two cards were actually from last weeks MIM that I never posted, so I thought why not add them here. I really had a good time visiting this technique and loved Laurie's card so I cased it and had a ball.
It's a good life!

What a pretty set of cards! Gran's Garden is going to be one of the classic PTI sets. You've used it beautifully! It's the first set that I die cut a dozen flowers/leaves and played with colors.
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful...love your sweet trio of wonderful cards! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteNice cards! I did a workshop for some of my neighbors recently and used a bunch of sentiments from The Skinny. There are lots of good ones.
ReplyDeleteWhat a trio of beautiful cards Terri!! I love the simple embossing in just the lower corner of your first card...totally sets off those lovely Gran's Garden flowers!! And beautiful water colored backgrounds on the last 2 cards. You've definitely made good use out of all those extra flowers!! :0)
ReplyDeleteAll 3 lovely, Terri! Especially love the embossed bg partially done and off to the side. Really accents the flowers!
ReplyDeleteTerri, congratulations on your PTI win! All three are beautiful but my favorite is the stencil embossed background. I need to die cut and Stamp a load of Gran's Garden florals to have ready, too. Well done!
ReplyDeleteoh wow what amazingly GORGEOUS cards and a great take on the stencil technique... not to mention using up the leftovers! thanks for SHOPPING YOUR (old & new!) STASH with us this week! ♥
