Going on a Chick Hunt!

Well as you might have guessed, I didn't get into to the MFT Idol contest. There are some fabulous stampers over there, but I had a good time trying. One of the things they have are challenges for the judges. This is the week 2 challenge, which is masking. I was thinking and thinking and then BAM! Izzy loves animals and she loves scavenger hunts, so I made her a Where's Waldo version of an easter card.

Before I get to that, while I was in the stamping room working on her card Izzy decided to help Mommy stamp. She wanted to make a card for a friend who brought her some "special purple juice" (gateraide) while she was sick. She piced out which animals, helped stamp and then colored them in herself. She then decided which colors to matt the card with as well. When she was all done she set up the white background papers I use to take pictures and then set her card up and said "take picure of my cad Mom". Who can refuse that?

Here is my go at masking and making a fun card that I think Izzy will love.
I am also going to submit this for the Stamp It! weekly challenge. One of the categories was to create a scene, so this is my try at that. Isn't this fun? It is acutally all on one page the only dimension is the flock I put on the chicks. I really think Izzy will get a kick out of this. All of the coloring was done with Stampin Up markers. I don't have any copics yet, so this was the best I can do. If you would like to learn how to mask, a link is found here with really good directions and pictures.

It's a good life!
