Well I am pleased to admit I only have one more Mother's Day card to go. The next one is for my sister-in-law Amy who just became a Stampin Up demo, so it will be SUO so she can use it to show clients.
This card was made with two challenges in mind the first was a case challenge from Laura. She has hit 300,000 hits on her blog. Isn't that wonderful! Well the challenge was to case a card. I choose this beauty. I like a lot of it, so I changed the colors, stamps, added more paper piercing and some bling. I got my color inspiration from Stamp TV it is STVCC5. It was to use Lavender Lace, Old Olive and any neutrals you want. Here is my interperation.
Isn't it fun! I really like the way the flower seems to spill of the main image. Did you see the ribbon detail? I liked that part as well. It is hard to see on the flower, but I did put some stickles on the stays. Randy's family is all over the country, so I have to think about making cards that we can send on to them. This one should mail nicely as well. I also found a blog candy for 72 copic markers. You had to color in a line art image so this is my entry. The details are found at Charmed Crafts blog.
Izzy and I are off to shop today. We are going to try and find her an Easter dress and I am looking for the ever ellusive bathing suit that I won't hate LOL! Why are those so darn hard to find? We have a family trip planned for Memorial Day weekend in Flordia and Izzy is too excited to think about anything else but the beach, so I will need a suit that actually fits the post baby body.
It's a good life!
