I have to explain this a little bit. We had a fabulous weekend at Lake Shelbyville in southern Illinois. It was the most fun ever. The first day Izzy went crazy with boat rides, floating out back and last but certainly not least the jet ski rides. My little daughter is a tad CRAZY!!! She kept saying faster, I go super fast. She couldn't get enough. Here is a shot of the two of us and then an action shot.
That night, while we were at the hotel she said she had to call her peoples. She then spent 20 minutes on the phone talking to her "peoples" all about how much fun she had that day. It was too stinking cute for words. I wish we had out video camera right then LOL!
Anyway, I had to work on the Kirsten Werner color challege right away. I really thought this was a tough one, but like most of the color combos, I LOVE the end product. Here is the challenge

I also used the sketch challenge from Stamp TV found here
Here is my card
How much fun is this? This card will be for our little second cousin in North Dakota. He will be 2 when we are there, so I wanted to make this fun card for him. I really love how it turned out. The basic grey dsp really made the more mustard and really rust pop. I used an aqua painter and ink to color him in and to make fun clouds as well. It was all I can do not to make grass in green and blue clouds, but I really tired to keep to the color combo only LOL!
It's a good life!
