I combined this with the color combo from Stamp TV, which was red, brown and cream. Here is my card What I realized after being blessed with the WHOLE AUGUST VERVE RELEASE!!!!! (Can you tell I am so stinking excited LOL) is that I need to get a few sets a year that aren't necessarily my style. This coffee set for example is one I wouldn't ever purchase since I don't drink coffee, but I adore it.
I am also thinking through many people who I know who would love this. This card is going to our local hot spot, Julie's Java. She is fabulous and we adore her. She was gone for a week and we missed her so much, her doughnuts as well.
This card was a ton of fun to make. I really like the background dsp I created with the cup images that were dry embossed with clear powder. I really like how it turned out. The dsp worked well and I adore this sentiment it comes with.
It's a good life!

ReplyDeleteBTW, Congrats on the win ~ WOWSA the whole August release of Verve! They look like a fun set (from your sneak peak photo). I know you will enjoy! I'll keep peaking in to see what you create.
Gorgeous card Terri, I love the coffee cups! It is funny how we're drawn to certain styles but when given others we end up loving them. Hope you're enjoying that whole release!!!
ReplyDeleteLove this card, Terri. Especially the sentiment -- being a true all-day coffee drinker you have to know that I would latch onto that one! When I read the post earlier (today's?) I didn't realize that you had WON the ENTIRE Verve release. How cool is that??!! Congratulation and enjoy all that fun (sure looks like you are!). Don't you love unexpected blessings!
ReplyDeleteWow I really need to check out more of these sketches.
