Tiny Treasures

I am so excited to share this scrapbook page. I had some more fun challenges that I just couldn't get out of my head, so I had to create and boy am I glad I did LOL! I used this fun sketch from Stamp TV for my scrapbook page.
I combined it with the Verve release bling challenge.
As you all know I am working on making my daughter a fun scrapbook with pages that are all about my prayers for her. I want to leave a legacy of faith for Izzy, so I thoght this would be a fun way to show her what I pray for for her. All of the My Prayers for You serries is found on Faith Sisters Blog Here is the page
Here is a close up of my prayer and the fun title I used
I also wanted to give you a close up of the scripture and all of the fun bling. She is such a bling girl, I knew this would be a perfect touch to the page.
Isn't this a neat idea! I have about half of the pages done, but I did take some time to go through and find pictures that work for the rest of the challenges, so now it is a matter of getting up to my room and making the pages work. I used my glue pen and glitter from Gina K. There was a great video on how to use them over at Stamp TV and I must say I LOVE THEM!!!! Izzy loves them as well and she was so excited we were breaking those out today, LOL!

I do have some super fun blog candies that start tomorrow on Izzy's birthday. I do know they will not be until later in the day, so look for that tomorrow.

It's a good life!

Watch

I had so much fun over the past few days creating projects for the Stamping out Alzheimers challenge site. I am going to have fun things to share over the next few weeks! It is all over now, but the sketches are still tons of fun. This sketch was for a scarpbook challenge. I really liked it and got inspired.

I ended up combining this with my serries that I love called My Prayers for You from the Faith Sisters Blog.

Here is my take on the sketch
Isn't that tons of fun? If any of you have kids who love Mickey Mouse Club House, this all came from the secret spy Daisy episode. She thougt it was great and now she busts out her "secret spy googles" whenever we need to find anything. Super cute!

It's a good life!

Fruits of the Spirit

Have you ever had an idea in your mind that you need to get onto paper and you can't do anything else until that has happened. That is where I was at until my new Papertrey Ink package came in. I had their apple set on my list for about a year and finally had a scrapbook page that moved it to the "need" list LOL! Can you even believe that I ordered on the 15th and my package was here on the 18th WOWZIERS!!!!!!

I love Stamp TV and all of the challenges that are on there. Ericka Martin does the scrapbook pages and she is fabulous! Here is STVSCR12
Here is a close up of some of the details on the page. I love the new champagine versa mark ink I got from PTI. Can you see the small flecks of bling in the background. It is so beautiful and subtle. It is a fabulous look. Can you believe that I finally got my very own guidelines 2 stamps set and after drooling over the dsp paper eveyone made with the set the first thing I whip out is the big background grid LOL! I also love the chocolate buttons. They have such character and shine. Isn't that fabulous!
Here is my finished project. Okay now that I look at it, it is not finished. I forgot to put the date on the picture, but I will add that. This was in October 2007.
Izzy was just a year old and she was eating her first apple from our apple tree siting outside with Grandma and Grandpa was there in between bringing loads of corn from the field. She was so relaxed that day munching on her first apple from the tree. It is a memory I will cherish and I thought it was perfect for the verse as well.
I love the felt alphabet and the puffy brown letters as well. It was a ton of fun to put together. The prayers and verse idea came from this fabulous site called Faith Sisters. They are doing a whole serries called "My prayers for you" and I really love it. It is the first thing that got me scrapbooking my little one. One of the gals at my Bible study mentioned leaving a legacy for her daughter when she passed away. It really got me thinking and as you all know I am not a speller, so writing a journal was out, but I loved putting a scrapbook together about my prayers for Izzy.
We leave for vacation on Friday and I have no packing done, Izzy has a double ear infection and I feel not good at all. I went to be last night at 7 and I am heading to bed at 8 tonight trying to kick this quickly.
It's a good life!

Oh Baby...

This has been such a fun week! I have been very inspired to get a scrapbook put together. There is a fabulous site I found called My Prayers for You. It is all about scrapping your prayers for your children. When I was blurfing around this week I ran into Kristen Werner's Color Inspiration Kristen Werner's Color Inspiration #44. Isn't this beautiful!

Right away I saw the little girls dresses and I thought of my little Izzy. She would love all of these princess dresses. So I had my color combo for my page and then I ran into the fabulous Erika Martin's StampTV Scrapbook Challenge STVSCR2.

Here we are

Too cute if you ask me LOL! This is my Izzy at 1. She was "helping" at our Christmas pagent this year. I had a ton of fun making my own notebook paper for the journaling. It is hard to see, but where the ribbon is in the sketch, there is a line of dazzling diamonds and then many of the circles are embossed with irrodecent ice. It is soft and sparkly just like little "princess" Izzy. I also realized that this works for StampTV Color Challenge STVCC2. I am not sure if I can have two entries, but I am going to put it in.

It's a good life!
