This is my second card for the solid paper challenge from Paper Smooches. I am digging this card.

I actually used he said she said, but then flipped over the curvy talk buble because I didn't like the black outline. The smaller white bubbles are from the PTI pointsettia die set. Isn't that fun? It is the first time I have used that piece of the die. I also got the ray background from Kristina over on the Simon Says Blog, super fun!

MIM Think Like Nicole

Did you get a chance to see the MIM this week? Nicole went through how she makes cards based on a color challenge. It was AWESOME!!! Now I am no where near a Nicole, but did try and incorporate her rule of 3. It was exhausting! I must say I am a much simpler stamper and it really was quite a challenge (I actually didn't get all of the pink in LOL).

I do like it and I am happy to use it as a Mother's Day card. I really don't think I am going to stress about this rule of 3 business LOL!

Gratitude Flower

Well I am back again tonight for another fun card. I combined some fun challenges for this beauty. The first challenge is the Make it Monday challenge. I made this flower with the balloon die. Izzy used some for her flower as well. I used the Color Q challenge this week as well. It is hard to see, but the red is on all of the flower edges.

For the sketch, I used the clean and simple card sketch found here. Lastly, I will be entering this beauty in the Simon Says flower challenge. Wow, that was a lot. Have a wonderful night.

Tough MIM for me LOL!!!!!

This week it was all about making your own sentiments on the computer and using dies with it. I must say I am not a make my own sentiment kind of girl. Then I remembered that our anniversay is coming up and I needed a card for my hubby. 

This is what I came up with. 93 or bust is our little thing, it is on the inside of his wedding ring actually, so while not normal at all, it is perfect for us.   I am also really into the creative chemistry 101 class.  I must say it is super fun to make, but I have a hard time putting it on the card when I am done.  Hopefully that will come together at some point.

PTI March Blog Hop

This month was a fun spring picture that we used as a jumping off point. Izzy is the one who found the purple and pink in the picture, I would have missed them completely! Sorry that these colors are looking so vibrant, it really is spring moss, aqua mist, melon berry, plum pudding and daffidol delight from su.

I also have one of our outside projects we have been working on, no flowers in the flower pot yet, but we have some great new Tulips we are loving. We also realized that we REALLY need to get mulch this year!

Forever working on projects LOL!

I do have another card to share today for the PTI blog hop. I wanted to make sure I got this one in for MIM before I forgot LOL! I used the color Q challenge as well. 

I do feel like we have been working on all kinds of projects this year. Wether in the stamping room, our home or work. Maybe this will be the year of projects, who knows LOL!

So this is the new floor in our master bathroom, we are very excited. It is 99% done, we are just waiting on our crawl space cover to be tiled then it is done. I need to clean that room and work on getting that back together today.

We also have 2 fun new creatures for our garden. Is anyone else starting the outside work really early this year? We have had unseasonably warm weather this year, so we are out working away. Randy mowed the lawn for the first time this year yesterday and today.

Color Q round 2

I had to make another card with the copic coloring technique and the color Q colors this week. I liked them both so much. I wanted to try it again LOL!

PTI pal challenge

Well, I am the biggest blog slacker! Life has been busy and since I am mostly a weekend stamper and I had a marriage conference last weekend, I missed a lot. Sorry about that! This is a card I made for the Color Q challenge, the Make it Monday challenge and my super fun PTI pal challenge from Anna. She challenged me to use this stamp set that Dawn created. 

The worst thing about it is I can't remember the name, sheesh! I think that is the sign that I have too many stamps from PTI. Okay, I just looked it up it is Glory Be.  I heat embossed everything before I used the water and reinkers, but it is hard to tell here.  I am going to be killing you with posts this weekend, I appologize in advance.

Here is my take on the Make it Monday, I cut both sides. I think I am going to try it again with just half cut, it would have been good to block off the chevron.

Baby bee

I made this cutie for 2 challenges. The Less is more neutral challenge and the casual friday baby card challenge.

I came up with that cutie. It was hard to get the color right on my computer, it is actually on soft stone paper not white. It really is fabulous in real life!

Happy Make it Sunday

I am glad to have my card done for this last weeks make it monday!

I just got some zing and I am now addicted, it is so vibranrt and fun. Can't wait to get all of the colors. I also now need the dies for rosie posie as well.  I am waiting for my first order from paper smooches as well.  I can't wait to have those fun cuties in my hands.

Glitter button take 2

Okay I had more time today in the stmaping room. Not a ton of time, but enough to get two cards done. I really wanted to do a little more with the glitter buttons.

Here is take 2. I had to take some more goodies off the shelf, here I used the fun products from Dawn that you had to cut out. I really do like them, but I have to force myself to use them. They sit a lot on the shelf unloved :)

Glitter Button Color Q

Izzy and I are back at it today. We have already folded clothes, done our devotional and now we are up crafting before church. Life is good!

This is a Maile inspired card for the Color Q challenge this week and the Make it Monday challenge to make glitter buttons. I don't have spray adhesive, but it is now on the list LOL! This is my first card made with Maile's set Beautiful Butterflies set. I had to get it for the fabulous sentiments. I am now kicking myself for not getting the dies. Another thing to add to my ever growing list LOL!

Blog Hop PTI style!

Hello everyone, first let me introduce Izzy. She is my little 5 year old who loves to stamp. Today was a big deal for her because I let her color with my beloved copic markers. It was AWESOME, so she is entering in the blog hop this month LOL!

Here is her card. She colored the butterfly and stamped the sentiment all by herself.

Of course she couldn't wait to tear it open LOL! She also colored all of these other beauties while I was stamping today.

Izzy's help with mojo

I love that my Izzy loves to craft. She always says she has tons of ideas and that she never runs out. Well, after 5 cards I did run out of some mojo today. She directed the colors on this one. It was a lot of fun really.
