This beauty is for my SFYTT entry. I actually made both this one and my PTI blog hop entry at the same time. Izzy colored the balloons for me LOL!
Inside it says "your age. Happy Birthday!"

Joanne B & SFYTT
Well, it has been a HUGE work week and the first week of Randy's outage. WOWZIERS, I have been super overwhelmed and that means not much time to stamp. Well I did get to two challenges. The first is the SFYTT challenge.
Here is my card
The other is a big challenge over at Joanne's blog for her anniversary. I go the color combo, grid paper, kraft and twine from her. How much fun is that? I don't often use orange and pink together, but it worked for this cutie. Sorry about the picture, it was dark here and I needed to get this cutie up.

SFYTT-Enjoy the ride
I am just under the wire with this one LOL! You will see the sketch below from SFYTT. Here is my card
I made this for a gal I work with. It was her 11th Anniversay just the other day and I wanted to celebrate with her. I also used the color challenge from Totally Hues. Isn't that a fun one. I can't wait to play more. Here is the sketch from SFYTT Feb 2011

Dress forms LOVE!
Well I have been on a stamping roll. I am finding such joy in creating for my family and loved one. I used this fabulous color combo from Colour Q
This great sketch that Jenn did SFYTT
Here is my creation
Have I mentioned I am on a spending freeze? Well after I looked at my stamping room I saw that I have the 4 dies and sets that that I "HAD" to have and they haven't even seen ink yet. I am not buying any more until I give everything I have some LOVE! Hopefully you will se some fabulous creations coming from me soon. Oh, I am in love with this fun and fabulous set. This was the one I wasn't even sure I wanted and it was the first I inked up and I am loving it.

This card is for my Mom's anniversay. She loves blue, so this pop of blue felt is perfect for her. Also, she loves jewerly and this button/bling combo looks just like a broach she would have. Adorable. This ribbon is becoming my new favorite love.

Birthday wishes!
Wow I have found another fun challenge to particpate in. I adore these colors, so it was tons of fun to figure out how to make it all work. I am also going to enter this for my birthday card for the Moxie Fab World Challenge. Super fun!
I went with the SFYTT challenge sketch that you see below.
Here is my card
What do you think? I reall like how this one turend out. The stiching, floss and embossing really added a fun element to the card. It was just enough white to make everything pop. I was really inspired by the Finally Friday challenge this week to stamp on dsp. I don't always think to do that unless it is for paper piercing, so this got me out of my little box for sure!

The dsp had a little bit of light green, but I went with it anyway. I hope that didn't through the challenge way off, but it worked so well that I gave it a try.
Today I am off to find a maternity bathing suit :( I am not happy about having to be in a suit at all, but Izzy needs to get a little more time in the pool on her own. She is only 3, but I would like to see her skills a little better. My Mom is going to take her to the beach this summer in the morning to help me with the baby and I want to try and make sure she is a little more prepared. I know this is crazy, but it is on my list of things that need to get done before I have the baby, so there you have it. It should also be some fun Izzy and Mommy time before the baby comes as well.

sfytt - sweet pea
It is time for the next week of SFYTT. It was a fun one. I really liked the side portion of this sketch.
Here is my take on it
I got the idea to use these papers in this way from a card that was in a recent magazine. I have used this for an altered DVD tin that I will turn into a baby's first year tin. Isn't the curve fun for the side element. The lime rickey dsp has such fun curves in it and I liked the stiching detail that really highlightes the curve. I was drawn to this paper for fun baby cards because it is so bright and it so easily goes gor girls or boys.

This is for Lucy a 4 month old now. I have no idea why, but I am behind in these little baby dvd tins. I have about 10 more to make and then I will be done until my sister's baby that will be coming in July.

SFYTT You ROCK!
I used this fabulous PTI color combo that Dawn put together. I adore her since of color so much. Did you see her big announcement about color combos.
Now onto the fun SFYTT announcement. There are big thing happening in the month of February for SFYTT, a HUGE give away and a chance to be the March designer. Go check it out. Here is this weeks sketch
My card
Okay I have to admit, this is my most favorite card of the day. I made the background paper with guidelines 2 stamp set and hibicus burst, raspberry fizz, summer sunrise and chocolate chip. Isn't that fun? The big ribbon is su as well. It really seemed to ground the bottom of the card. Lastly I just had to add the bling. I mean the sentiment is Girly you ROCK, it needed to have some "rocks" on the card LOL!

Thinking of You
Here is the fun sketch SKETCH FOR YOU TO TRY from Jen del Muro. I have been following her blog for some time and I am a big fan. So here is this weeks sketch
It is a goal of mine to send out Birthday cards to everyone I love this year. Usually I make them and then never send them, but this year I am on it. I do have my cards made through April and I am working on May. This push to finally use my supplies to send cards has really got me on a roll. This card came about becuase I have no realized that I need to have cards ready to go for when my loved ones get sick and then I need to have a stash for sympathy as well. Hopefully I will get motivated this weekend and get some more put together.
I had a harder time with this than I would have thought for some reason. Here was my first try, but I really didn't like the circle element. I can't figure out how to make the cordaroy brads work for me in a card. I must need more practice LOL!!!
I then took that piece off and I like the card much better, although it is still a bit plain for me. It was a quick card and at times those come in very handy.
So which one do you like best?
