Tiny Treasures

I am so excited to share this scrapbook page. I had some more fun challenges that I just couldn't get out of my head, so I had to create and boy am I glad I did LOL! I used this fun sketch from Stamp TV for my scrapbook page.
I combined it with the Verve release bling challenge.
As you all know I am working on making my daughter a fun scrapbook with pages that are all about my prayers for her. I want to leave a legacy of faith for Izzy, so I thoght this would be a fun way to show her what I pray for for her. All of the My Prayers for You serries is found on Faith Sisters Blog Here is the page
Here is a close up of my prayer and the fun title I used
I also wanted to give you a close up of the scripture and all of the fun bling. She is such a bling girl, I knew this would be a perfect touch to the page.
Isn't this a neat idea! I have about half of the pages done, but I did take some time to go through and find pictures that work for the rest of the challenges, so now it is a matter of getting up to my room and making the pages work. I used my glue pen and glitter from Gina K. There was a great video on how to use them over at Stamp TV and I must say I LOVE THEM!!!! Izzy loves them as well and she was so excited we were breaking those out today, LOL!

I do have some super fun blog candies that start tomorrow on Izzy's birthday. I do know they will not be until later in the day, so look for that tomorrow.

It's a good life!

Hold your hand

Hi everyone! The fun challenges are Moxie Fab World are over and man were they fun! I am thankful to have a break from Christmas! Well, I have started my Christmas card design, so I am mass producing my cards for this season, so not quite a break, LOL!

This is a card I made for a Verve sketch a while ago. I am happy to report that my hubby is back at work! I adore Julie's sketches and always find them such inspiration.
Here is my card
It was so much fun to make a card for my hubby. So often I forget to make him fun cards. He really likes getting them and he even now knows to make a big deal out of the cards LOL! I used a Cosmo Cricket craft pack to create this card. It is from Mr. Campy and it is really a fun color collection.

Celebrate today!

Well, I am quickly posting a few fun things today. First, it is Izzy's Birthday party day so this will be quick. I do have a really fun post and blog candy for her birthday, so look for that soon.

Next, I won some blog candy from Justine. It was her birthday and she had a ton of fun goodies for everyone. How exciting is that.
Now, onto the card. I used Stamp TV's color combo for this week. It was Yellow, Brown and White. I adore this color combo, so it was tons of fun. I needed to make a quick card for Giana's birthday. Here is my card
This is a fun close up of the sentiment element.

I heat embossed the striped part of the image to add a little gloss. The hardware really tied everything together. I also love how all of the punches worked together. Oh, love the bow and button as well. I would chat more, but I have to run, Izzy's nap will be over soon and I have a lot to do before the family comes over.

It's a good life!

One moment at a time

Well if I thought that last weeks sketch from Midnight Madness had a lot going on, it was nothing compared to this week. WOW am I pushed out of my comfort zone!!!!! I paired it with the color combo from SPCC, which I was not liking at all until I started playing. I am thinking she is now a geneous, LOL! Here are the challenges.

Here is the sketch - see what I mean about a lot going on LOL!
Here is my card
We had a funeral to go to this week. My cousin's husband passed away at 44. He left his wife and 2 high school girls behind. I made this card for the girls. There really isn't anything I can say, but I have decided I am going on a thinking of you campaign. Maybe some happy mail will help. Needless to say, there will be some lift you up cards on the blog for them from time to time.
Even though the sketch was complicated, I kept my version as simple as I could. I have used dmc floss for the weaving and medium vanilla brads from Stampin Up. I love the Papertrey stamp set With Sympathy. I really think it makes these situations a little easy to create for.

Time to Celebrate

I had to whip up a fun card for Asa. He is a little boy who "helps" watch our daughter. Izzy is really in love with him, so it makes her time there tons of fun.

I decided to combine some fun challenges. The first is from Stampin sisters in Christ. They had a challenge to make a card for a child and to encourage them. As I was thinking about what to do for Asa, I ran into this challenge from Stamp TV. It was to have some of your card outside the edges of the normal card. I can't even begin to tell you how uncomfortable this made me to even think about LOL! I then saw this video by Beate and new I could do it LOL! Right before I went up to create, I saw this new color combo from Color Throwdown and there we go.
Here is my card
Isn't this little guy stinking cute? Every time I see Melaine host a challenge, I can't wait to break out one of her cute little animals. I am addicted. I will take a picture of Izzy's Brithday card for Asa, she used some of Melanie's cute animals as well.

I combined these with some fun stamps from Papertrey Ink. I love the leaves and it worked so well for this card. I just thought about a little boy jumping in a big pile of leaves. What could be more fun than that LOL!

Okay I also am LOVING this card. I have seen tons of these in the past, but I have never tried one on my own. Isn't that stinking fun! There might be more of these on here soon as I am loving this new to me idea.

It's a good life!

Season's Greetings

Well, I was so glad to have the chance to play with the Mojo Monday sketch on Monday this week. I am still on a Moxie Fab World challenge kick, so it is Christmas crazy around here LOL!
My card
It was so hard to get this photographed this morning. I just couldn't get it to look right. I will try and update that later today. When I thought about vintage and shabby, I thought of these topiaries from PTI and decided to give it a try. The button holes are filled with gold liquid pearls. I also have some faint gold dots around the card as well.

Star light, star bright

I am so glad to be home! We had a great time, but it is sure nice to be home. I slept 12 hours last night. My hubby said I was asleep before Izzy LOL! Needless to say Izzy and I hit the stamping room this morning and we got a few more cards done. I still have a few more ideas for the Moxie Fab World Challenges. The trick will be seeing if I have time to get them done tonight.

Here is the latest. I combined the SPCC color challenge for this week and the Moxie Fab World Clean and Graphic Challenge .
Here is my card
This was pretty clean and graphic for me LOL! I have really been busting out the PTI set take a bough and I LOVE it!!! I can't wait to see what Nicole and the PTI gang come up with for this season. It is sure to be a hit in my book. The stars are from the same set. They are stamped in the essential glue set and then I put glitter on them. It was sure a fun way to add some intrest to the card. The sentiment just makes the card for me.
