Well I am back again tonight for another fun card. I combined some fun challenges for this beauty. The first challenge is the Make it Monday challenge. I made this flower with the balloon die. Izzy used some for her flower as well. I used the Color Q challenge this week as well. It is hard to see, but the red is on all of the flower edges.
For the sketch, I used the clean and simple card sketch found here. Lastly, I will be entering this beauty in the Simon Says flower challenge.
Wow, that was a lot. Have a wonderful night.
It's a good life!

Forever working on projects LOL!
I do have another card to share today for the PTI blog hop. I wanted to make sure I got this one in for MIM before I forgot LOL! I used the color Q challenge as well.
I do feel like we have been working on all kinds of projects this year. Wether in the stamping room, our home or work. Maybe this will be the year of projects, who knows LOL!
So this is the new floor in our master bathroom, we are very excited. It is 99% done, we are just waiting on our crawl space cover to be tiled then it is done. I need to clean that room and work on getting that back together today.
We also have 2 fun new creatures for our garden. Is anyone else starting the outside work really early this year? We have had unseasonably warm weather this year, so we are out working away. Randy mowed the lawn for the first time this year yesterday and today.
Cece "had" to have this one LOL!
I will be back soon with my PTI blog hop card!

Color Q round 2
I had to make another card with the copic coloring technique and the color Q colors this week. I liked them both so much. I wanted to try it again LOL!
The copis are more vibrant, which I love! What do you think?

PTI pal challenge
Well, I am the biggest blog slacker! Life has been busy and since I am mostly a weekend stamper and I had a marriage conference last weekend, I missed a lot. Sorry about that! This is a card I made for the Color Q challenge, the Make it Monday challenge and my super fun PTI pal challenge from Anna. She challenged me to use this stamp set that Dawn created. The worst thing about it is I can't remember the name, sheesh! I think that is the sign that I have too many stamps from PTI. Okay, I just looked it up it is Glory Be. I heat embossed everything before I used the water and reinkers, but it is hard to tell here. I am going to be killing you with posts this weekend, I appologize in advance.

Glitter Button Color Q
Izzy and I are back at it today. We have already folded clothes, done our devotional and now we are up crafting before church. Life is good!
This is a Maile inspired card for the Color Q challenge this week and the Make it Monday challenge to make glitter buttons. I don't have spray adhesive, but it is now on the list LOL! This is my first card made with Maile's set Beautiful Butterflies set. I had to get it for the fabulous sentiments. I am now kicking myself for not getting the dies. Another thing to add to my ever growing list LOL!

Pen Pal Challenge
Warning.....I am going to be posting a lot in the next few weeks. It is the 5 year anniversay for PTI and they are going to have great challenges that I always like to participate in, so look out LOL!
Anna, who is my papertrey pal and I have challenged ourselves to use some unused and unloved sets. We are hoping to post 2 times a month. For me that will be on the 1st and 3rd weekend of the month. My challenge stamp set was All Booked Up from Papertrey Ink. If any of you know me, I LOVE to read, so this set was a must have. Unfortunately, it remains really unloved. For example, these two stamps were unloved! Well, not any more LOL! Here is my card
I used the Color Q color challenge and then I also busted out some Kraft cardstock and dies, which I got from Lisa's card inspiration. I also used the CPS sketch this week as well found here, I couldn't tilt the center image, it just doesn't work in my world LOL!
I would also like to thank Lisa for all of her inspiration on her blog. What I love most about Lisa is her transparancy with her faith and raising her girls. As a mom of 2 young girls, I really like to see her success in raising grateful children!

Thank you
This is a fun one for the Color Q challenge and Make it Monday. The Monday challenge was to make backgrounds with border dies. I had a lot of fun with this and I am going to try to make one more before we are all done. The last challenge this was for was the SFYTT monthly card sketch. My goal is to do this one monthly. We will see if it happens :) Have a great day!Enjoy your Sunday. Do any of you have tomorrow off? We do at our house and we are loving it!

Fun challenge Thank You
I seem to be a weekend stamper no of days. I adore getting my creative mojo on, so I am trying to carve out some more time. This card is for the Color Q challenge and the Celebrate the Occasions challenge.

I used a bunch of distress inks on this water color paper, I used wild honey, ornage marmaliade, fire engine red and frayed burlap. I used the Mhendi Motif set from PTI and then spritzed with water. I really like the effect on watercolor paper, so that was a lot of fun.
For the celebrate the occasions challenge it was to make a thanksgiving card with a button. Of course Thanksgiving is over, so I went with a thank you card and added a scarlet jewel button for the darker red element.
Hopefully you will see me back again today, I would like to get some more cards done.

Color Q
I feel like it has been forever since I was able to play with the colour Q challenge. I finally had some time today. I had to also share Izzy's card that she created with some of the challenge colors as well.
Terri E.
We are totally cat crazy around here after she earned her baby kitten for her birthday, so that is the only one that made it to the card for her LOL! Here is my card
This is the first time for me using a lot of these little cuties. I am loving this set in a major way! I can't wait to create more for Izzy's kids this year with this fun set. LOVE IT!!!!
We are getting ready for church, so I need to scat, have a wonderful weekend!

Make it Saturday
I am a day earlier than I normally am and it is fabulous! Do any of you make cards for different challenges and then not get them uploaded/posted in time? That seems to be a theme of mine lately. The beneifit to that is that I have a stack of cute cards LOL!
I made this beauty for Make it Monday, frosted images challenge and the Color Q challenge. I LOVE that one, but don't get to play along as much as I would like.

Didn't the frosted technique turn out fun? I took the technique class from Jennifer McGuire recetnly and I must say I have a new love of smearing and getting all kinds of inky when creating. This technique lent itself well to that also, so it was a blast. I used the soft stone paper for the center piece and like the subtle results I had with the frosting.
I stamped all of my flowers from PTI in the challenge colors and then stamped fresh snow right over it and then smeared. It really was so easy and fun.
Hope you all get time to create today!

Make it Sunday LOL!
I am so happy to have had some time to make a fun card and get it uploaded as well. I have no idea why, but I kept getting really odd angles with this card when I was taking pictures with it, Oh well.
I made this for three challenges this week. It is for PTI's make it monday challenge, CASual Friday/Clean and Simple sketch challenge and the color challenge from Colour Q. Does it get any better?
I really like how the colors just popped off the page with this one. I then added 2 of the hand colored ribbons and the button as a focal accent. The ribbon was made by coloring with copic markers. The only thing I realized is that I don't have a plain old ruler in my craft room. Really, how could that be when I have every other gadget under the moon LOL!

Dress forms LOVE!
Well I have been on a stamping roll. I am finding such joy in creating for my family and loved one. I used this fabulous color combo from Colour Q
This great sketch that Jenn did SFYTT
Here is my creation
Have I mentioned I am on a spending freeze? Well after I looked at my stamping room I saw that I have the 4 dies and sets that that I "HAD" to have and they haven't even seen ink yet. I am not buying any more until I give everything I have some LOVE! Hopefully you will se some fabulous creations coming from me soon. Oh, I am in love with this fun and fabulous set. This was the one I wasn't even sure I wanted and it was the first I inked up and I am loving it.

Here is my creationThis card is for my Mom's anniversay. She loves blue, so this pop of blue felt is perfect for her. Also, she loves jewerly and this button/bling combo looks just like a broach she would have. Adorable. This ribbon is becoming my new favorite love.

So sweet
I am so excited to have my project ready on time LOL! Here is the Colour Q challenge. Aren't these colors yummy?
Here is my card
Well this the first time I tried my distress inks as they were intended. Any tips you might have on how to use them would be appreicated. I heat embossed the leaves first and then applied my inks with the foam applicator. I did like how the inks stayed wet and I was able to blend nicely. It really started to shine when I was able to spritz with water. The colors just melted together for me.
Here is my cardI finished off this card with some felt cut with the mat stack die #1 from PTI and some buttons. I adhered with the best glue ever, and I must say it was great. Hope you have a great Sunday!

Should be
Loving these fun colors from Colour Q. I am going to make another fun halloween card as well, so more goodness to come.
Here is my card
This was also for a Unity WCMD challenge to make a card using no patterned paper. Right away I knew a sleek one sheet card work work out great. I then scored with a score pal to add some fun interest. I colored the you in rich razzleberry marker, the hearts are all in pumpkin pie and the should is in old olive. Tons of fun for this card.

{happy birthday}
Happy Birthday to Colour Q!!! I am so excited they are celebrating 1 year. I must say this is one of my all time favorite color challenges. Not only are the color combos fresh and fun, but I adore the fun graphic they have for our blogs as well.
For this challenge they had us pick a past color combo and then use the following sketch to create the card this week. I choose this challenge from seek 17. It was one I hadn't done yet, so I was super excited about working on it.
Here is the sketch challenge

Sorry about this picture, I took it at night. The background is created by using PTI polka dot basics. Don't you think a birthday card is perfect for this challenge, Happy Birthday Colour Q and many more.

Happy Birthday LeAnne
I am so excited to share one of my Colour Q friends birthday celebrations. Happy Birthday LeAnne!!! What better way than to use this weeks Colour Q challenge
I combined this with the Clean and Simple sketch
Here is my card
One thing I love about Colour Q is it gets me loving neglected colors. I don't have the new Su in colors, so I used appricot appeal and I am in love! Okay probably just with this color combo, but love it none the less LOL!
I combined this with the Clean and Simple sketch
Here is my cardThis was an easy card to put together. I used my Mod Squad (I am loving this right now as well) to make the "dsp" by stamping the one image in all 4 colors. The sentiment is embossed with white on the bottom. I finished the card by corner rounding and adding the old olive ribbon.
Here is the next person on the blog hop this morning

So Sweet
I have been on a little stamping roll LOL! I can only hope it continues as I have really enjoyed my time creating. I just had to make a card when I saw this great color challenge from Colour Q.
Here is my card
Now I am not sure about all of you, but I follow the PTI releases every month and I always have a a long list of things that I "need". I will be the first to admit that I am pretty blessed and usually I place a $60 a month (enough to get the free shipping LOL). This month I am blessed again, but for a different reason. CHA is coming to Chicago and I am one of the lucky ones that will get to go. Needless to say, I did not place an order last night becuase I knew I would be soon. Well this has been quite a different experience. I have had to really streach myself and instead of thinking about what my wish list would be, I have been up thinking about how I can modify what I love about the new products to work with what I have.
Here is my cardThis card is part of that endevor. Last month I purchased the scrapbook serries stamp set and hadn't used it yet. I also hadn't used the much needed beautiful blooms 2 set. I am loving the new spiral die that everyone seems to be showing from PTI as of late. Well, I have a spiral punch and if I can find it I have the distressed kit from SU with a perferator, so I can do that with what I already have at home. Wahoooo!!! I am not sure I will love all of the steps indefinatley, but for now it is great.
I then added some black bling. The background is versa mark and a stamp from retro background basics, I think this might be my all time favorite background. I tied the basic grey ribbon from SU and then attached a black PTI button to tie the black in as well.
It's a good life!

Thanks
Well now that I have had a taste of my stamping room again, my hubby is doomed LOL! It feels so good to be back up creating. I am still feeling out of my groove, but it has been fun playing. I just had to make a card with the fun colour Q challenge this week. These colors are brighter than I would normally use, but I loved it.
Here is my card
I am really working to make the thank you cards for all of the wonderful and generous people in my life. I am truely blessed beyond words. I am also blessed to have Izzy up with me creating away. She is determined to make cards for each of the sick kids as well. How fun is that?
Here is my cardOnto the card. I really love making background paper and this color combo really worked well for that. I used PTI guidelines 2. I really need to get the first addition as well. I think that will be another winner for me. I then used white thickers for the thanks and mambo melon ribbon for and a white button to finish off my card. As I looked at it I knew it needed rounded corners and white stiching as well. We are now heading to church, have a wonderful day.
It's a good life!

Thanks Chickie!
I have been on a card making kick! Izzy wasn't in preschool yet, but we still have things ending and we need to thank those that have been so sweet to her these past months. I love this CPS sketch for the week
I combined it with the Colour Q challenge
To get this fun card
I am going to give this to her ballet teacher Ms Emily. She is such a doll and Izzy really likes going. She is pregnant as well, so we are going to give her an Old Navy card so she can get maternity clothes or baby clothes.
I combined it with the Colour Q challenge
To get this fun cardI adore these little chickies and Izzy had a fun time picking the colors to go on each button. As I write this Izzy is saying it is the cutiest card ever LOL! Nothing like gratification from a 3 year old.
