Smile

This is the first card I have made since CHA and it felt soo good to be up stampin. I used a few challenges for my inspiration. Frist was from Ted's blog and it was to do a cas card with ONLY stamping. I loved this and had a lot of fun thinking about it. Here is the color challenge I combined it with from Curtain Call

Here is my card

I adore this PTI CHA set. It is so much fun to do the rock in roll technique. I also love that it can accomidate so many different styles as seen by the PTI design team. This card is a one layer stamp only card. It is helping me get my thank you cards tackled. I only have 8 more to go LOL!

Sew Sweet!

Well I have another of my thank you cards done. If only I had such success with my announcements I would be in business! New to me challenge allert, wee Memories has a chipboard challenge. The prize is from cosmo cricket, one of my fav companies, so I had to enter! The color combo is a challenge from Stamp TV to use yellow, red and orange. I hope this works for that as well. I have degrees of all of them LOL!
This was a fun card to pull together. I am most excited about my sunrise impression plate! I didn't think I "needed" a lot of those, but WOW the impact it has on my cards is really fun. The squares are all from punches. Since the challenge was sponsored by Cosmo Cricket and I had some cosmo chipboard, I used that. Hope you enjoy.

PTI CHA make in takes

Okay ladies this is my last PTI peeks from CHA. It was so much fun and I am so glad I have a place to share. I do have other shares from CHA, but those can wait LOL! These are all of the make in takes that they had for us. I really liked how we got to play with different materials and dies this whole time. I almost had to go and put another order in after the second days make in takes, more on that later LOL!

Here is the first one. Now I will say it was smart, but I couldn't get mine to tie tight enough to make it work for my needs. This is a pin. Now I think I am going to take it apart and make this the focal point of a card and keep the pin for another project, but it was fun none the less.
This was a make in take on day 2. Fun tip from Debbie herself, I didn't get a perfect impression of the tree when I stamped it. She said to go ahead and dip my finger in the vintage cream and apply the ink that way. Worked like a charm! It blended great since this ink is a little wet when going on. She said she had to do that on her card as well!
Here is the second card for day 2. This one almost had me going back for another purchase, but I held off and am going to add it to my August purchase instead.
Do you see the texture on the white? I had to take a close up so you could. LOVE IT!!!!! It is so subtle, but really added a great kick to the card. It is already sitting in my cart waiting for me to check out LOL! Isn't this CHA set to die for????
This is my last card from CHA. It was a make in take on the first day and again it was with the CHA set. Love how impactful this is and the large leaves are wonderful.
This was one of my first times using terra cotta tile and I now feel a need to bust that bad boy out again.
Hope you enjoyed. I will have more cards that we made in other booths later in the week. Oh I did have someone ask me what I got at CHA. I got a lot of dies and impression plates at PTI. Some odds and ends paper as well. I got my first pure innosence stamps from MFT and 4 sets from Taylored Expressions. I can't wait to bust out one of those as it is a new set for August. WOWZIERS!!!!
It's a good life!

PTI @ CHA WOWZIERS!!!!!!

****If you are here for the Verve blog hop, scroll down****

Okay PTI fans, this is a LONGGGGG post full of great eye candy. I took all of these pictures at CHA and they are not my work. It is all examples of the new CHA stamp set that you could only earn at the CHA. It is fabulous!!!! First, I have to have to put my picture of myself and Nicole. She probably thinks I am some odd kind of stalker, but I had a great time and shopped for some other PTI gals who couldn't be there themselves. She is just like her blog and videos. Althougth the wait was qutie long on Friday and they ran out of free sets on Saturday(they will be mailing to those who didn't get it at the show) I was so proud to be a small part of this wonderful company's success.
Here is the display of all of the PTI dt examples
Love this card and all of the bling, can you see the impression plates?
This card was stunning with the color gradiation. It is hard to see, but another impression plate is used there as well, stunning!
This card was great with tons of bling and distressing on this beauty!
Aren't the pannels and dsp a stunning grouping?
This is hard to see, but the subtle colors are fabulous in real life.
The dp and buttons are great. Do you see the library card in the background, stunning!
This one is such a cutie with great button accents.
Clean and graphic to a tee on this one. The bling is so well placed.
The colors are fabulous love the buttons as well
Isn't the bakers twine and notebook die fabulous in this cutie?
Matt pack 3 at its best here. Love how the buttons accent the center image
Lastly, this beauty didn't fit into the case, but it shined on top. Aren't the shabby sheek layers to die for.
As always in PTI style, there is something for everyone here. Hope you enjoyed and I can't wait to hear what you think. I have more CHA posts, so keep tuned.
It's a good life!

Anni-Verve-sary Blog Hop!!!!!!

Welcome to the Anni-VERVE-sary Blog Hop! Verve turns three today and we’re celebrating with a hop, hop, hop! If you've already been hopping along, you arrived here from Susan's blog. If not, head on over to Julee's Blog (owner of Verve), for all the info on how to win prizes (after all, what's a party without presents?), and to start hopping from the beginning. If there's a hiccup along the hop, you can always head to the Master Hop List to get the full list of links.

Here is my card

I am so excited to play with some more new to me Verve!!! It arrived just before I left for CHA, so I only got one set inked. It was my pleasure to add a TON of verses to my collection. I really love that I can not only get fun images from Verve, but that they fill my soul as well!

We have been going over words in our bible study and the effect they have on everyone around us. When I saw Meditations I knew it was perfect for our group and what we are all focusing on. I am going to make each of the girls this card and send it out to them throughout the week. The sketch for this card is from CPS. I thought it worked well with this stamp set.

The rest of supplies are new to me as well (some of my fun purchases from CHA). All of those details can be found below. I am off to see all of the wonderful creations made for this FABULOUS company and blog hop!

Thanks for hopping by! Now it's time to hop on over to Angela’s blog, for a little more Verve-y goodness.

It's a good life!

Happy Birthday LeAnne

I am so excited to share one of my Colour Q friends birthday celebrations. Happy Birthday LeAnne!!! What better way than to use this weeks Colour Q challenge
I combined this with the Clean and Simple sketch
Here is my card
One thing I love about Colour Q is it gets me loving neglected colors. I don't have the new Su in colors, so I used appricot appeal and I am in love! Okay probably just with this color combo, but love it none the less LOL!
This was an easy card to put together. I used my Mod Squad (I am loving this right now as well) to make the "dsp" by stamping the one image in all 4 colors. The sentiment is embossed with white on the bottom. I finished the card by corner rounding and adding the old olive ribbon.
Here is the next person on the blog hop this morning
