More sympathy

Don't forget about the chance to win Papertrey Ink's Background Basics: Retro. Get the details here.

Can you believe I am out of sympathy cards again. I don't know when I have gone through so many! I will be on a restocking kick, so you will have to bear with me. This is one I made for 3 different Stamp TV challenges. The sketch challenge, potluck Friday and technique challenge. Can you even believe it was possible LOL! Well the technique challenge was stamping with bleach and the potluck was using a household item, so bleach counted for me. Here is the card sketch
This was my take
I really like the saying about true friends hanging tough through a storm and coming out stronger. Isn't that a neat saying for a sympathy card. I can see myself using it again and again! I played around with the bleach on going grey, black and basic grey. It looked the best on going grey. Oh and you need to get your paper towel really wet with bleach. I wasn't really prepared for how much bleach I would need on my pad. Keep pouring, LOL!!! I did a lot of paper piercing, which is a little hard to see in this picture. I think it is really a soothing card.
It's a good life!

That's very beautiful, Terri! I didn't try the Bleaching Technique, yet...

Thank you for your comment on my blog, I am happy to discover yours.

And since I am christian, too, take a look at my post on the Life After... A very nice reflexion! My translation from french to english isn't perfect but I did my best:
