Gratitude

This cutie is for Mom. She has been fabulous with taking Randy to the doctors.  The butterfly was made for the MIM with using legos as impressions on the butterfly.  I always used the rock and roll technique on this fun butterfly.

I used the clean and simple and the color q challenge for this card.  Not sure if I am loving the back washi tape on this one, but it done and done.

Adding texture

This was a fun MIM this week. I think that I have more fun with up with Izzy exploring and creating than amything else. She was a great hunter around the house to see what we could use.

On these tags we used an orange toy. It was such a fun to create and use Izzy's finds througout the house. She really wanted to use the strainer from the kitchen, but that was a no go for me LOL!

Lifesavers....

Have you ever had one of those days? I seem to be having one of those months LOL! My hubby has a herniated disk in his back so he is on bed rest for the next 1-1 1/2 weeks. It has meant a TON more work for me (seriously how do single Moms do it?).

It also means I have a big need for thank you cards. My Uncle Mark came over today and helped me mow the lawn. I did 3 hours and he put in a good 2 hours. WOW!!!! I really can't imagine that every week I might have to do 5-6 hours of mowing on my own along with the other responsibilties. Yikes!

Anyway, here is the card I made for him using the papersmooches sparks sketch challenge. I didn't think I would ever use the nautical set that came last month, but it has all kinds of appeal with the idea of many manly cards needed in the near future.

I added some fun rope elements.  The life saver was colored with inktense pencils.  Super fun!  If you are wondering when I had time to bust this out, it was tonight when I had a melt down and we all hustled it on up to the stampin room for some crafting time.  Yikes!

It's a big deal

That is exactlt how I feel about getting my PS stamps early every month. It is so much fun!  I made this for the PS sparks challenge.

I also love that I am getting sets that I normally wouldn't have picked out myself.  Okay in full disclosure, I took this late at night, so you are really seeing the shadow from the elements being popped up around the flag and sandwich.  I did ground the sandwich, but not as good as the shadow makes it look.

Purrfect Day

This really was a perfect day (okay no stamping, but I get to share). Here is the beauty Izzy made for the papersmooches anything goes challenge.

We are in the preorder club and I am loving it. This is one of the stamp sets Izzy picked out which is stinking perfect for her. She is such a cat person!
