Loving the MIM

Okay I must be loving the painting world right now.  This MIM really has been getting my creative juices going!  I used trendy trees for the pattern.  It was so much fun.  I had such a good time with it that Cece is helping pick colors out for a new rainbow card.

You are amazing!

This card was a fun one to make. I mixed my pattern play class info with the new summer camp 2 class. It was a lot of fun pulling this together.

Izzy's creations!

I am so excited about this creation from Izzy. She used the Muse challenge for her inspiration. I had the watercolor crayons out for the PTI MIM challenge and she went to town. I do have to confess that this will never be made into a card (it is A2 size, but I will be framing it). It's a good life!

This cutie is for the MIM challenge this week to use paint and then stamp over with ink. I started with Rosie Posie staying in the flower world like Erin's card.

I used the sketch and color combo from Summer Camp 2. It was a hoot, but the blue flowers are still freaking me out LOL! The inking on the card looks a ton better IRL :)

Last one LOL!

I know it goes from no posts to four in one day around here LOL!  Okay this is the last creation for the MIM challenge.  Are any of you like me?  I had everything out and pools of unused paint.  It just kills me to leave it there or wash it down the drain.  Really what is my problem?  Any way I am digging the shiloette action I have going on this one.  Again, this was with some sticky backed canvis.

Good times

Since I was on a roll and loving the mess that was happening with the paints and the MIM challenge, we went for it on the next two.  In real life we have some aqua mist, haiwian shores and spring moss action going on here.  We just got back from visiting family in North Dakota, so this cutie is going to be the thank you.  I used a background stamp from hero arts and the road trip stamp from PTI on sticky canvis.

Just a note

This was my second card for the MIM challenge about creating paint to match PTI colors.  I had a fun time painting the flower and leaf.  Not sure how I feel about the big enamel dot in the center of the flower.

Thank you

Long time with no new posts. I am chalking it up to no time :( We just got back from a vacation today at 5:45. I let my hubby know that I was making at least one card for the MIM challenge.
Wouldn't you know I ended up with 4 complete cards LOL!  On this one I used paint on the flower and leaf image.  I alos used a white wash paint to tone down the wood grain stamping from barnyard background basics.

I had the best time playing with paint and my stamps again.  On a side note, does anyone have the vagabond?  Did you plates fit correctly and cut out of the box?  I had to use my old big shot platform to make it work.
