Izzy inspired 1920s

This cutie was made by copying Izzy's blue beauty.  I had to include it in the scrapbook.  This is for the 1920's challenge.

Loving the timer challenge

This is another notebook for the 1980's.
Loving the timer challenge.  I am really needing to whip up some more of these.

Warm up to the 80s

This cutie is one of my lunch box notes and the 1980's challenge.  I am really working on getting my lunch box note stash up.
I LOVED this color combo and had to use it for my weekly MM scrapbook.  The timer challenge is a hoot!  I am hoping to get some more done tonight.

Celebrate!

This is my Cece and her end shot.  She missed some of Saturday, but when she came home and spotted this beauty, she went banana's!  She hugged my neck and same the I love Mommy song all about how great I am because I said she can make more blinged out embellishments. Thanks PTI for making me Mom of the year!

Here is another 1920's entry.  I had only brown bling and had to make it work.  I think the gold really set the card off.

My closing shot :)

We stamped the full weekend and it was super fun!  This is my closing shot (not really because I am working all night on more as well).  This is my favorite part of the weekend!  Randy came up and filled out some of his journaling cards that he needed to do.  I am so excited to officially have Jan-April DONE!!!!  May is 75% done and I am starting on June right now WHAOOOOO!
This card is for Nicole's renaissance challenge

Izzy's fav of the weekend

Izzy loved the 1920s bling challenge.  It was right up her ally and she has blinged out my world (in fact, Cece is now in on it as well and we had to make another run to Michaels to get more bling LOL).
This was her picture this year for the closing ceremony.  She said it was her favorite card for the day!

1980s super fun!!!

So, being a slacker on my Monthly Moments scrapbook has served me well this weekend.  I was able to get a ton done, and I had this cute one for week 19's intro card.  It was the week of the zoo trip with the kiddos and the school theme works great.  This is for the 1980's Stamp a Faire PTI challenge.  LOVE IT!!!

Hello 1920s

Okay, this was the last one that I made for the 1920s challenge.  This was one of my favs that I infused the technique with my style.  I have more cards to share for this era tomorrow when I have good light.  This is the last one of the night for me.  It is bad to have favorite challenges?  I have to admit the 1920s is my favorite era at this point.

Wax seal

This was made for the PTI renaissance era challenge.  The seal was done on waxed paper and transferred to the card.  I love the melted outer edges on this one.  The favorite of the day for me was actually done for my scrapbook.  I will be sharing that tomorrow.

Wax

This was made for the PTI renaissance era challenge.  The wax was actually really hard for Izzy and I to do (we set the wax on fire at one point, CRAZY!!!).  The seal was done on waxed paper and transferred to the card.  The favorite of the day for me was actually done for my scrapbook.  I will be sharing that tomorrow.

Embossing paste

I tried to mix gold reinker with embossing paste, but it turned out this green color instead of gold.  I actually like this look for the challenge.  The pattern paper saved me on these challenges.  It made the cards really fun to pull together.  Well this was a fun one for the ancient rome challenge.

One of my fav from this era

Well this was a fun one for the ancient rome challenge.  I used the mosaic stencil and sprayed gold to tone down the pattern paper.  The sentiment was added on the banner and I made a gold medallion piece on here combining with the rennicanse era.  Not sure if it is legal to combine, but it really works.

Oh my Ancient Rome

Well this was my first one for the ancient rome challenge.  I used the mosaic stencil and added white paint to tone down the pattern paper.  The sentiment was stamped in gold ink.  The ribbon really adds a fun touch in real life.

Ribbon morning love

She really liked this morning challenge!  I only got one done, but can't wait to get some more tomorrow.  This was Izzy's thrid try at the morning challenge.  She really got into just the beauty of the PTI cardstock.

Morning challenge take 2

This was Izzy's second try at the morning challenge.  She really got into just the beauty of the PTI cardstock.

Stamp a Faire

Ahhhh, it has been such a fabulous day of stamping!  We are so excited to have had the whole day just me and Izzy (Cece was off with Randy helping friends move).  This was Izzy's first try at the morning challenge

Mine won't be up until the morning due to a really bad picture!

Cece had to sport the wall of color

You know we weren't going to get through intro night without Cece's mug LOL!  She loves to laugh and loves to stamp and create.  She is really excited to play with the embossing paste some more (the made a million tags with that for the MIM, but we never busted out the cards on the good old blog LOL!  Another super excited kiddo for stamp a faire :)

It's a good life!

Izzy showing the new die cutting area

Izzy had to showcase one of my most favorite elements in the new room.  Do you have a baby changing piece of furniture that you can't figure out what to do with.  Well, turn that cutie into a die cutting station and you are ready to roll!  We are ready to bust out some Stamp a Faire fun tomorrow.

Stamp a Faire 2014!!!

Yes it is finally here, Stamp a Faire 2014!!!  We all know I love some PTI and I am super excited to be getting this fun weekend started.  I will be spending the day with Izzy and Cece (Randy is here for when the girls get tired because I am stamping ALL DAY LONG!!!!!).

We have had a massive room switch upstairs.  The stamping room got moved to the baby room (I couldn't paint over the fabulous mural that Katie, Dana and my Mom did).  Cece went into Izzy's room and Izzy got my old stamping room.  The goal was to be moved in by this weekend so that we could enjoy.  I must say, it isn't 100%, but we are close enough to bust out some fun.

Have a wonderful night!

Happy, Happy, Happy!!!

I am so excited about this card.  It was for a good friend and co-worker who had a birthday this past week.  It is so fun and cherry, I was really excited to give it to her.

I entered this is a few things.  First this is for the online card classes day 1.  I got the background technique from Kristina's card.  If you are even thinking about this class, jump on it.  Really great videos and ideas.

Next, I am entering this in the Mama Elephant challenge of birthday and watercolor.  I have had this set from them and haven't busted it open yet, but so glad that I have.  It is going to have a loved place on my desk.  LOVE it!!!  Also on the list is the yummy watercolors Mama Elephant has in their stores.  I also am entering this in Virginia's view challenge to make a shaped card.  I have had the SSS balloon dies for a while and am so glad to have them busted out as well.

Handmade sweetness!

I am so excited to share this with you.  I made with the new County Fair Make it market kit from PTI.  It is my third kit and I am in LOVE!!!!  I made this for a few challenges.  The first was the PTI MIM challenge of making borders out of non-border stamps.  Well I let the words hang over this and make my boarders.  Not sure if it is "legal", but it was fun!
I am also adding this to the online card classes for day 3.  If you have ever thought about these classes, I would highly recommend!  It is super fun to say the least!  I used the word stamps to make the masked home made sentiment pop.  It was fun to make the sentiments "stretch".  I am also adding this to the SSS Wednesday challenge to make it sparkle.  I hope you can see the wink of stella on the home made sentiment and the glossy accents covering the heart.

It's a good life!
