A Christmas Note

I am so pleaed to have some time here at Christmas to make this cutie and post. I was strapped to find anything left for the leftover card. Then I spied some wrapping paper from last year that I punched out and made into ornaments for a fun Christmas Thank you note.

Less is More take 2

Last one of the day, then it is off to the parties LOL! Well, I wanted to give the Less is More challenge site another try. Apparently my last one didn't fit in with their objectives. It was pretty easy to make, but who knows :) This week the challenge was to make a card with only one word. Here is my card

I might try and take another picture. The colors aren't quite right on this one. Anyway, I took some soft stone and then embossed with the wood grain impression plate. The word peace was just what I needed today. Peace is a big prayer for our family right now. I pray that we can call down and enjoy this fabulous season with a sense of peace and calm.

Make it Monday Tag

I am so excited to have the time to participate in the Make it Monday challenge. It was a ton of fun to play with Modern Basics again and make this cutie tag. I am super inspired for next year's Christmas, homemade tags galore! I also was inspried by the Color Q challenge. Such fun colors! I have no idea why my green galore looks odd in this picute, I still have that origional ink pad, oh well!

It is quiet time at our home, we have a fun Christmas Eve party this evening, so I am going to keep it quick. I have one more to do and then I am off for a while.

Runway Inspired

This is a fun one this week from Runway inspired. I really liked the colors and fabric pattern. Here is what I came up with.

This is the fist time I busted out Modern Basics from PTI and I am so glad that I did. It is going to be a new favorite! I can't get the colors to photograph correctly, it really is greeen galore, crushed curry and concord grape. Oh, well! I hope you enjoy it! The white embossing powder really helped everything pop.

A little Christmas Note

Happy day off everyone!!! Okay it might not be a day off for everyone, but it is for me and that makes me happy :) I just stumbled upon a new to me challenge blog, less is more. As you know, this is right up my alley. Here was my creation for this music note challenge.

Hope you enjoy. I am also hoping to get up into my stamping room today for a little fun time. Even though I really need to be wrapping and decking, the need to create something is really strong :)

Have a Merry Christams if I dont' get back here before.

Make it Sunday

Well I was super happy to get this done, but I did get it done. I must say I did emboss with clear embossing powder after all of the comments about the copics getting ruined, so it is not as crisp as other cards.

I have 125 Christmas cards to finish up, so I am going to make this very short.

Make it Runway!!!

I am so excited to be able to particiapte in the new Runway challenge blog. I combined it with the papertrey ink Make it Monday challenge.

I was really inspired by the yellow and the glammer. I tried to have the banner element done with glitter and then I tried to stamp over it with staz on ink, but it didn't work out like it did on the video. I still had a great time with it.

Free Sets?????

I made this cutie for the Simon Says anything goes challenge. Do you ever have a hard time creating with free stamps? I didn't think I would, but the stamp sets we got from PTI at stamp a faire are for some reason hard for me to create with.

Here is what I came up with. Katie if you are reading this, maybe you should give these sets away to Donna :) I would love to hear what you think about creating with free stamp sets? I am the only one who has a hard time????
