This month was a fun spring picture that we used as a jumping off point. Izzy is the one who found the purple and pink in the picture, I would have missed them completely! Sorry that these colors are looking so vibrant, it really is spring moss, aqua mist, melon berry, plum pudding and daffidol delight from su.
I also have one of our outside projects we have been working on, no flowers in the flower pot yet, but we have some great new Tulips we are loving. We also realized that we REALLY need to get mulch this year!
It's a good life!

Blog Hop PTI style!
Hello everyone, first let me introduce Izzy. She is my little 5 year old who loves to stamp. Today was a big deal for her because I let her color with my beloved copic markers. It was AWESOME, so she is entering in the blog hop this month LOL!
Here is her card. She colored the butterfly and stamped the sentiment all by herself.
Of course she couldn't wait to tear it open LOL! She also colored all of these other beauties while I was stamping today.
I will be back in a few minutes with mine.
It's a good life!

PTI Blog Hop
This was such a fun challenge this month at PTI! I enjoyed making a card based on one I enjoyed from before. I must say I didn't go through all of the cards I made last year, but I did have a few still on my desk, so I went from there. Here was my first oneHere is my second one.
I really want to get more use out of my half and half dies and set, so it was a good jumping off point for me.

PTI Blog Hop!!!!
Where did December go? I can't even believe that Thanksgiving is over and Christmas is just around the corner. Here is the fun card for the PTI Blog Hop challenge this month.

I was very insipred by the holiday picutre and really excited to use the fun pointsettia die that I got for my birthday. I used basic grey paper on this cutie. The bling was just the right touch for the center.

PTI Blog Hop
Welcome to another fun PTI blog hop. This was a tricky one for me for some reason. We are in full Halloween mode around here, so I wanted to try my Halloween set that I got this year. Then I thought that the challenge was more a Thanksgiving theme and I went with the pumpkin looking treat bag die. Here is my project

I have to admit I am a little dissapointed with this one. It looks like a tomatoe to me. What the heck. I tried to have different patterns in my pumpkin like the inspiration photo and that part I did like. I think it was the shape that didn't wow me. Anyway we are deep in the throws of pumpkin carving, so I need to go.

PTI Blog Hop
It is time again for the Papertreyink Blog Hop. I am so excited that it is on a Saturday, so I can play!!!! Here is my creation. As I am sure all of you know, I went with the colors on the wall and played with my copic markers. I can't say this is something I am good at, but it was fun to do
This is for a first birthday party we are going to today. I am a last minute card maker it seems LOL! Many of you know my Izzy loves to make cards as well. Here is her birthday card as well. Do you see the rainbow cupcake? She uses my left overs as stencils and rocks it out LOL!

I can't wait to see everyone's creations.

It's Blog Hop time baby!!!!
I adore PTI blog hop night. It is the perfect way to end a month if you ask me. The challenge this month was all about scallops.
Here is my creation
Okay not the most creative use of scallops, but did you see that cutie felt cupcake? I made it all on my own with PTI dies and felt. I think this just might be my new love LOL! I am going to keep this short so I can go and hop. Have a great night!

PTI take 9!!!!!!!
I must say I was putting this image off, but it is my FAVORITE card I made this evening. I have a few other favs from this morning, but hey that is how it goes LOL!
I busted out my all booked up stamp set for the first time. I know what is that about? I love to read and have been neglecting this beauty. I am not going to let myself get any more of those beloved mat stack sets until I really use what I already have. I heat embossed using irrodicent ice so it glimmers and shimmers. Join the fun here.
It's a good life!

I used the Curatin Call with this PTI challenge.
Here is my card
Oh for the love of Maile!!! I can't wait until March to see what she has in store for us. Can you even believe that I am not ordering for the February release? I am putting in an order for some dies in the beginning of this week for Cece's birthday cards, but other than that I am waiting until at least March. Knowing me after skipping 4 months of stamp sets I will cave by March. Join the PTI festivities here.

PTI January Blog Hop
With the new year comes a clean slate along with many resolutions. This month's blog hop challenge involves you challenging yourself to use a Papertrey stamp set that has yet to see ink or even one that might be collecting a little dust! Go through your stash and see what little used treasure it might hold. If you are in need of inspiration for your chosen set, feel free to utilize the gallery posted in the side bar of each set's sale page on our website, or go to the Previous Countdown page here on my blog where each set is organized by month of release. 2011 is the year where what's old is new again!
Here is my creation. I used an old one that I haven't busted out in a long time. Teacher's Apple
Isn't this a beauty? I love the rainbow effect and look this card took on. I used some dsp from Stampin Up to get the dictionary backbround. I bought this set when my oldest was a baby knowing it was perfect and I would have a use for it one day. This is her first year in preschool and I just can't wait to give this beauty to her teacher and the aid. Have a great night hopping!
It's a good life!

Merry Christmas! It is time again for the PTI Christmas scraps blog hop (my unofficial name LOL). Well we got a fun basket of goodies from my in-laws and here is the ribbon that came with it.
Here is my card that I made today for them.
I can't say enough about Dawn's Signature Greetings stamp set. I have used it to death this holiday season. The dsp is Basic Grey's jovial line, another go to for me this year. The tag was attached with button twine from PTI as well. Have a fabulous night ladies! The sketch is from CPS 198.

Thanksgiving PTI Blog Hop
First and foremost, Happy Thanksgiving. My hubby is working today and I am grateful that he has a wonderful job. We are blessed to have family a mile away and we are heading over to Great-Grandmas house for lunch. God is Good!!!!
Another thing I am thankful for is PTI's blog hop. I love getting a glimpse at everyone and how stinking creative this group is. This month we were challenged to make holiday tags. I am almost done with all of my Christmas shopping, so I have left to do is make the homemade gifts. I thought I would share some of that today. Since it is Thanksgiving, I am going to focus on the pictures and get to the family LOL!
Here is my gift for Amy my sister in law. I am actually busting out 10 of these fabulous birthday calendars for holiday gifts. How fun is that?
The cutie saddle stich flower was an idea that I learned from Laurie. You really need to check out the video, they are super fun to make.
Another fun tip, the insides come scored for you at 4 in. I found that things fit better in them if I also score at 4 1/8 and fold accordingly.
Here is how I decorated the inside
I know that PTI has a die that works with this, but try as I might, I just can't buy all of the dies so this is a stampin up punch called designer label large and it is a beauty as well.
The finished gift. I used packing paper from PTI for the wrapping paper. I didn't have anything else neutral, so it worked great. I also LOVE Stampin Up's big striped ribbon. It worked so well for this gift. Last but not least, the tag LOL!
Okay I have decided that I am not going to order until after the blog hops each month. That way I can get the dies when they get restocked. I realize that I need the tag dies and the circle dies as well, so I am on the hunt. In the mean time, the #3 Mat stack die worked well for me. I used a tag from the 09 set I think. Love this cutie. Have a blessed day! I will come in later and give all of the details.

Papertrey October Blog Hop Challenge!!!!
I missed last month somehow, but I am so excited to be sharing with you today for the PTI Blog Hop! The challenge was toThere is always a lot of focus on Christmas in our industry this time of year, as that is what the majority of the population celebrates. However, this month's blog hop is dedicated to those that celebrate winter holidays other than Christmas. Create a project that celebrates Hanukkah, Kwanzaa or some other winter holiday as we embrace everyone's beliefs in a celebration of diversity through paper crafting.
Here is my creation

It is hard to see in the picture, but there is some glitz on every mitten and then a strip by the sentiment as well. I used this weeks CPS sketch and the Curtain Call for my inspiration. Have a great day hopping!

Blog hop time!!!!!!!

Welcome PTI fans!!!! Here was the challenge for the month of August....
In honor of school going back into session everywhere, we thought it would be fun to issue a Brown Bag Challenge. We want to see what you can do to dress up, alter, change an ordinary brown lunch bag into a paper crafting work of art. You could modify it to become a gift bag with handles, create a card base by folding it in half (complete with a slide out tag), add a window to it or whatever else you can dream up. After the hop is though, we should all have plenty of inspiration to help us create amazing projects with inexpensive brown bags! We look forward to seeing your creations!
Here is my creation
This creation is tons of fun and I was able to use some of my color couture pieces. I try to cut them all out right when I get them so that they are ready to go. That is where I started with this card and then went from there. Mat pack die #4 is all it is cracked up to be by the way. I got the inspiration for this funky flower came from the fabulous Dawn. Have a wonderful night of PTI eye candy, I can't wait myself. Oh, the sentiment is from Big & Bold Wishes, LOVE IT!!!! Do you also spy the wood grain stamp? It is another new one for me as well. Last month was a fun month of trouble for me LOL!

Papertrey May Blog Hop Challenge!!!!
I am so excited about tonight's PTI felt challenge blog hop. It was great inspiration for my baby announcements. I am having a c-section in in 8 days and we don't know the sex of the baby, but I wanted to have the majority of my announcement done. The pictures you see are my daughter when she was a little one, but I had to have something for the effect LOL! My plan it to put a picture of the new baby and Izzy together on the front of the card. Here is the front. I used blue since I had that on hand, but it will be raspberry fizz if it is a girl LOL! The sentiment is from the tiny valentines set. I was going to put a regular button, but the shipping would be crazy on the 100 that I have to do, so the felt was a great solution. I cut out a 1" circle and then stiched the center. It was harder than I thought it would be to stich through the felt. If you have any suggestions on how to do that easier, I would love to hear!!!!!
I can't wait to see all of the fabulous creations!

PTI Blog Hop time!!!!!
Well it has been a long time since I was able to play along with the PTI blog hop. I am so excited to share. The challenge this month was to incorporate tissue paper into the project. I used the tissue paper that came with my new stamps this month. It is fun to reuse on projects. I was one of the lucky ones who got Enjoy the Ride and the die that coordinates. Where have these dies and matching sets been all of my life, LOL! All joking aside, I am such a convert the cutting time that is saved is fabulous.
Here is the fun card
Of course, I had to have the cans trailing the happy couple as well. I used a whole punch to punch from silver metal paper and then glue dotted them down to the floss. It was really fun to put this together and I am sure she will adore this fun card. On a side note, I got to help make all of the invites, so these are also her wedding colors (okay the eggplant envy, new leaf and basic grey) so this will be even more special.
I can't wait to see all of the wonderful eye candy tonight.
It's a good life!
