Little houese take 2

I really didn't realize how much fun we would have making these for the PTI blog hop.  At first I thought this wouldn't be my thing, in fact I wasn't going to do it at all.  Then I showed Izzy and she just had to do it.  She excitedly said that her mind was buzzing with ideas.  I just love that about kids!  This was my second attempt and I am so excited.  It ended up being such a fun thing to work on together.  I think we will end up with many more.
A close up of the room and side.  I think some of the fun was just creating to create.  I knew there wasn't a big purpose for this, but it was just a blast to dig through the stamps to see what would work.  It was even more fun to get a pen out and start drawing :)
I added some wink of stella to doll it up a bit.

PTI blog hop Izzy style

Isn't this a fun house?  This is another one for the PTI blog hop this month.  Izzy did the best job with her creative VERY pink house LOL!
The lighting is really rough on this one, but I had to show a shot of the top of the house.  She was only sad that she didn't get to do more.  She is decking out a bunch for our window sills LOL!  I will have to take a picture when she is complete.

Little houses

I had a lot of fun creating little houses for the PTI Blog hop challenge.  The first one of the night is supposed to be a church.

I did a close up of the stained glass windows.  The turned out a lot of fun.

Herd it's your birthday

This was made with the MIM inking technique on the background.  it is harder to see because I stamped the background then cut the images out.  It really was a lot of fun to put together.  I am entering this in the SSS Monday inking challenge as well.

This is another fun inked background I made for the PTI challenge using PTI inks.  It is a fun way to mimic paint brush strokes.  This is also for the SSS Monday challenge.  The stamp set is from Paper Smooches.

Hello Ink

This is a fun one that I made using masking and ink.  I used PTI ink colors and soft stone paper.  It was fun to finally get this card base off my desk.  I had started for a project and then never used it.

This is for the PTI MIM ink challenge and also the SSS Monday ink challenge

God will guide you

This is for another of my 30 cards for the month.  This is for a great preacher that we have in our church.  he isn't permanent, but I would love him to be.

I made this for the PTI MIM challenge about ink pads.  This was used with summer sunrise, orange zest and canyon clay.  I am also entering this into the SSS Monday ink challenge.  I used versmark for the arrows from get to the point.

Thankful for Joyful spirit

Long time without posting.  Apparently that is how I roll LOL!  I'm not the biggest Facebook person, but I have noticed that a lot of people seem to be doing the things I am thankful for posts.  While that sounds fun, I thought it would be fun to start a tradition in my world.  I am working on making/sending cards to the people I am grateful for in my world.  Every year that is 30 people.

This year of course it seems that I had the idea mid month.  That meant I needed to bust out some quick and fun cards to send to my "people".  Thankfully there are some fun challenge going on right now to get the juices flowing.

This cutie is for the MIM inked background challenge and the SSS Monday challenge for using ink and then the SSS Wednesday challenge for making cards that are thankful.  Hopefully this will work for the thankful challenge.  I am very thankful for my recipients joyful spirit.  Anyway, it is going to be another full day of posts from me, so brace yourself LOL!

For all of the PTI lovers out there, I used PTI cardstock and ink on this card.  The stamp set is from Paper Smooches.

I am so blessed

It has been a good day to count blessings for sure!  The beauty of the inlaid die cuts is that you can get two cards out of one idea.  This is what I did for a second card for Izzy's lunch box.  The inside says to have you.
I am entering this one in the MIM challenge and also the SSS Monday and Wednesday challenges.

Hello Crazy!

This card was so much fun to make.  I used the hello die from SSS and a bunch of little stamps from PTI.  It is hard to see, but I used a little star from Birthday bash sentiments, the heart from the second teacher set and the dots from beautiful blooms 2.  I masked everything off and then went to town with some neon inks.  I totally learned this technique from Jennifer McGuire.  She is FABULOUS!!!!
I really liked how this one turned out and can't wait to send it.  This card was for the SSS Monday and Wednesday challenge.

I love you

One of the fun things about Izzy being in 1st grade is that she can read and write.  We have started exchanging hand made cards in lunch boxes and all around.  I love Erin's new set!  It has been so much fun to pull it out and see what neat sayings I can put together to surprise Izzy.
This one is for the MIM challenge this week.  I used tim holtz distress markets on this cutie and want to include it on the Simon Says Stamps Monday and Wednesday challenges.  On the inside it says ...and don't you forget it!

It's a good life!

Hello friend

I'm not a big facebook person, but I have noticed some people get on and give things they are grateful for.  I thought what a great idea.  Of course, I need to amp it up and decided to make cards and choose 30 people in my life that I am grateful for and let them know.
This is for the MIM challenge.  I used wink of stella on the words to give it a little something.  The big word die is from Simon Says Stamp, loving it!!!  I am entering this in the Monday and Wednesday SSS Challenges.

Long time....

Oh how I love daylight savings time, especially when it is fall back time LOL!  We had all of this extra time and the girls and I spent it up in the stamping room.  It was so much fun.  On that note, you will see a lot of posts.  I am sorry that I go from none to 100, but that is how it is right now :)
This was made for the MIM challenge.  I made a ton of cards for this challenge.  It was fun to think about the dies in different ways.  This card wasn't all that creative in use of dies, but I was glad to use it at all.  It has been sitting on my desk for a few months untouched.

It's a good life!
