Woot woot!!!!

I was highlighted on the PTI blog and was lucky enough to win one of the $25 certificates.  Just in time for my July 1 order!
We will be participating in the weekend festivities.  What is on your list to buy?  I am thinking I might break down and purchase the Mums the word set.  Who wouldn't want a new flower set LOL!

New neighbors!

I was excited to see new neighbors moving in while I was mowing yesterday and knew I had to make a card.  Izzy is baking some brownies to welcome them as well.  The PTI MIM challenge was a great jumping off point!

I haven't busted out the don't forget to write kit much, so I knew it was the one for today.  I used distress ink for the the background technique and I am glad I did.  It came out pretty harsh without spritzing more water, that really softened up the edges.

HUGS PTI blog hop!

So excited to have some time today to create.  I really liked the soft feel of the inspiration picture for the PTI blog hop and the white accents.

 Hope you enjoy!

Pastors need encouragement too!

This was done with the marbling technique that Tim show us in the video.  I used the earth background to stamp with picket fence distress, it is a fun one for our pastor.  He is having a tough time right now and needs so love too.

I have always loved onlinecardclasses and the Tim Holtz creative chemistry is no exception.  Imagine my glee when they announced a creative chemistry summer camp and new class!!!!  Yes please!  Well week 2 challenge was to use distress stains and stamps on a card.  I forgot how much I leaned and enjoyed these classes.  Love that we are revising them.  I bused out the picket fence and had a ball.  Cece loved it so much she is doing all of her birthday thank you cards with this style.

Love when they get to learn and play right along with me.

MIM & Don't forget to write

It was so nice to be able to create a bit today.  I got the Don't Forget to Write Make It Market kit and haven't busted it out yet.  Seeing all of the new PTI goodies (I think there is a new die like this one) this week made me bust a move in the crafting room.

I really like the die that made this card base, really fun to work with.  As always, Betsy does an insane job on her kit.
This last shot I darkened up so that you can see the shading under the word, which was the MIM challenge this week.  It did add a subtle touch to the card.  Fun technique.
