It's Blog Hop time baby!!!!

I adore PTI blog hop night. It is the perfect way to end a month if you ask me. The challenge this month was all about scallops.
Here is my creation

Okay not the most creative use of scallops, but did you see that cutie felt cupcake? I made it all on my own with PTI dies and felt. I think this just might be my new love LOL! I am going to keep this short so I can go and hop. Have a great night!

Make it PTI

Make it Monday fun!!! Have you been to the PTI website to check out how much fun this is? PTI has a new video and challenge every week. LOVE IT! This week it is Dawn's week and you all know how I feel about her. I used this color challenge from curtain call as well.
Here is my card

This week's challenge was to add gliter with score tape. Can you see my strips? I added them on the top and bottom of my card. There are tons of fun elements on this card. I used the vellum and score pal sentiment on this card as well. Love all of the dies as well. Oh, and did you see my fun new dsp I got from PTI? I really love it.

TE Blast from the Past

Hello everyone! I am so excited to share this little cutie. In honor of the challenge, St. Patties thinking green, I choose to make a fun CAS card that screamed party to me.

Oh Moxie Fab!

Don't you just love a good challenge? Well as always there are some great ones over at Moxie Fab World challenge. This is for the markers challenge. Needless to say, I just had to bust out my copics. They are not used as much as I would like, so this was perfect!
One of the fabulous ladies from church is in the hospital, so this is perfect for her. My 4 year old is the social butterfly at church and she is going to draw Dee a picture inside, so I am sure this will cheer her up. The button twine added jsut a little bit of fun to this cutie. I also added some fuzz to the bear. Izzy thinks this is now the best card she has ever seen LOL!

Here is my beauty for the Color Throwdown challenge and the PTI weekly challenge.
I haven't busted out Four of a Kind in a long time. As a part of my use all of my stamp set crusaide, I knew this was the right one of this challenge. I used both shades of green on my stems. It created a fun look. I did add brown and the stone cardstock from PTI as well.

Loving weekends LOL!

Weekends are fabulous. For many weekends, but I just now started to appreciate this when I started working my "normal" job at the bank. I say normal becuase I always worked, but it was real estate which means your weekends or time off could be a Tuesday, Wednesday. Now that I havea more consistant week job and I have more time off on the weekends, they are precious.

Part of that is great challenges and finally getting time to enter into PTI's weekly contest. I used this color challenge from Curtain Call
Here is my card

The challenge was to use words from tons of different sets. I went with the love theme since I am a slacker and hadn't made my hubby a card yet. The words are from Mod Squad, Signatrue serries cupcake, damask designs, signature greetings, heart prints, mixed messages, faux ribbon and signature sayings. A whole bunch of love on this card!

Another thing I am loving is the felt and dies from PTI. Felt woolies are so expensive in stores and the idea that I can make my own just makes me smile! I just got my latest package of PTI goodness in the mail on Friday. (I also got the new Papercrafts Magazine that has MY OWN CARD in it !!!!!). Needless to say, it was a great day. The box was full of dies and impression plates and felt. I have been waiting to get some of these dies and they finally had them all there at the same time, so I jumped on it. One of the sets was the heart dies. LOVE.

PTI take 9!!!!!!!

I must say I was putting this image off, but it is my FAVORITE card I made this evening. I have a few other favs from this morning, but hey that is how it goes LOL!
I busted out my all booked up stamp set for the first time. I know what is that about? I love to read and have been neglecting this beauty. I am not going to let myself get any more of those beloved mat stack sets until I really use what I already have. I heat embossed using irrodicent ice so it glimmers and shimmers. Join the fun here.

Oh for the love of Maile!!! I can't wait until March to see what she has in store for us. Can you even believe that I am not ordering for the February release? I am putting in an order for some dies in the beginning of this week for Cece's birthday cards, but other than that I am waiting until at least March. Good Night! Well I got all of the 9 cards done!!!! Isn't that fabulous (okay with a little help from Izzy who did the heart cards). I am loving these little cuties and will probably print out more sheets for future uses. I used the JUGS sketch found here
The dots on this beauty are heat embossed with clear embossing powder. You can see the challenges here.

PTI Take 5

This is my fav so far. I really love how Dawn pushes me to use fun colors and think outside my color box. I can say thanks to her I love "bold and bright" type of colors and color combos and before that was a no go in my world.
Here is another trusty mat stack die and I love the impression plates as well. They are on my list to beef up my stamping more. Hopefully I will be able to add to that in the future. Superbowl nothing, I am going to be stampingbowl in this house LOL! I am really hoping to get all 9 done, wouldn't that be great (it would be fun to beef up my card stash as well!). PTI Take 4

Okay this has been quite fun. I got 5/9 done and am hoping to get the last 4 in tonight if I can. It really is a challenge for me, but the Mat stack dies are my life savers with this. Here is my card
I tell you those Mat stack dies and really all of the PTI dies are the little work horses in my stamping collection. This was the layout of Debbie's card, I just changed it to work with the center piece. All of the details of this fun challenge are found here.

Well my hubby is off for a week of sking and I have the girls. Thankfully there were tons of images that were colorable and Izzy LOVED them. This one that Lisa did was perfect for her and it worked great because we needed to finish our cards for the preschool teachers.

PTI Anniversary Goodness!

Okay there are going to be a lot of short posts today. It is PTI anniversary time and of course that means challenges. Wahooooo! For this one each designer put together a free image that we were challenged to incorporate on a card or project. I have 5 out of the 9 images done! It is amazing what you can get done with the right incentive LOL!
