PTI has a new challenge (okay not new, but new to me) called create along with us.  Izzy and I both liked the card below that Dawn made.  We got the watercolor paper with these designs and couldn't wait to bust into it.  

 

Here is my card.  I used watercolor paints.  I have no idea how to say the name, but the fun ones from Japan with the creamy texture.  Really nice to work with!

The sentiment was giving me a hard time, but I am glad this is what I landed with.  Love this script with the flowers.  I haven't used that set much and now it is on my desk so hopefully it will be seeing some more love soon.

PTI Create along with us

Well, we are back in the stamping room again today.  No video, but both Izzy and I did some water coloring.  Cece was with us too, but she is really into her adult coloring book.  Love that my girls love to be creative.    

PTI has a new challenge (okay not new, but new to me) called create along with us.  Izzy and I both liked the card below that Dawn made.  We got the watercolor paper with these designs and couldn't wait to bust into it.  

 Here is a picture of Izzy with her creation.  She is getting so big it is hard to watch.  She is 9 and still really into art.  How she mixes and melds colors make me smile.

 Here is a close up of her card.  She used inktense pencils and the new vintage jade color from PTI for the background.  The HUGS die cut she found on the desk.  It was a reject on a different card I was working on a few weeks ago.  It went perfect with this card.

First video and WOW!!!

Holy smokes bat man, videos are really hard to do.  Okay it isn't hard to press play, but to do it right and have a good card you are happy with, WOW!!!!  Then the uploading to you tube, who knew?  I haven't decided if I will do it again, but I'm glad I have it tackled once.

So here is the video.  Izzy was my videographer and it was definitely a challenge.  

This was for the MIM challenge from PTI.  A fun one.

Ellen Hudson Mix it up challenge

There is a fun challenge over at Ellen Hudson's blog that is called Mix it up challenge and they are mixing Essentials by Ellen and Pretty Pink Posh.  Here is my card.  I used wink of stella on the die cut to mimic the glitter paper below.  I used some Pretty Pink Posh clear droplets to complete the card.  

I really like how this one turned out.

Also entering this in the NBUS challenge found here.  The die and clear droplets have never been used before.  I have had this die for quite some time.  It feels good to bust out some older items!

MIM Ombre Stenciled Backgrounds

Well I had some time to play with the challenge this week.  I really liked the ombre stenciled video Betsy did for the MIM.   I was so glad I ordered her stensils!  I have another card that I made after this one that I like a lot as well, but it wasn't ready to be photographed yet.  It will be on the blog soon :)

This will also be entered into the NBUS challenge found here.  This card had a lot of nbus items.  The stencil and word die are new along with the sequins that I have had for a long time, but just busted into now.
