It has been my pleasure creating along with everyone this last month for the Word Art Wednesday blog. I find such joy in reading, praying and creating with these Bible verses. I'm so glad that I got out of my comfort zone and printed these off. It has opened up a new world for me for sure.
This verse really resonates with me this week. As I said before I am doing the Armor of God bible study here at home for the second time (it really is just that good). She goes into each of the pieces of God's armor that he has given to us and how to use them. I really loved this verse and how it reminds you that God is greater than anything in this world.
On to the card, I used PTI tulip time stamp set. Along with mix and mat pretty backet's die. I can't believe that I have had both of those for so long and haven't used them. (this is actually the first time I busted out the mix and mat die and those came out almost a year ago yikes!). So I die cut the Auqa Mist front panel to have a fun cut out behind my tulip image. For some reason this made me think about gardens, so I went with it. I then die cut the tulip image and then stamped using my Misti. I love the layered looks and with the MISTI tool they are much easier for me to achieve. The verse was printed on PTI white cardstock and then I added a little floss to accent the flowers.
Right at the end, I thought it needed a little something more on the flowers, so I coated them with glossy accents and that gave it just the right finishing touch.
It's a good life!
