Brighter than today

I am so excited to have such a fun sharing weekend! I am typing this while Izzy is sleeping. She is so tired after her HUGE day yesterday as a princess. There was some major idol worshiping going on with Izzy and the bride Marie. I am surprised Izzy let them get married at all.

Well I was able to pull together this fun card for the CPS Sketch this week. I had a stack of premade papers from the last time I had my alcohol inks out. I love the fun shimmer and texture you get and it is so stinking easy!
Here is my card, where you can really see the simmer and shine
Another shot of the card
Isn't this a fun card! The sentiment says Tomorrow's forecast, brighter than today. I made this for a family friend who has a heart attack. He is home now and just needs to rethink his life style.
I used the sheet of alcohol inks and ran them through the butterfly die. I love the fun butterflies that were made. I think spounged the edges and then added the bling. The background has the big flowers from 5th Avenue Floral stamped all around it. Love the fun punches as well and since I am on a huge soft suede kick, I had to add that ribbon as well.
It's a good life!

What a beautiful card, I love the colors and butterfly accents. Izzy sounds like she had a blast, what a great memory for her. Hope to see some princess pictures!

Very pretty card. I never thought of running a sheet through die cuts after sponging them with alchohol inks. That is a real neat idea.
