Muse challenge

I am so excited to get back into the Muse Challenge. I wasn't able to play along for a few weeks, but I have still checked out the cards and they were stunners! Well, I don't know why but this week really spoke to me. I hardly ever use purple, so it was quite a surprise when I had a few ideas. Here is the card by Therese Calvird!

I focused on the colors and layout on this card.  I used a technique that Jennifer McGuire taught me in inspiration showcase.  The online card classes are really top knotch!  I love that you have unlimited access to them.  I have looked at the videos over and over.

This technique was to use picket fence distress inks as a way to add some color and tone down colors.
The bling in the centers really pulls the card together.

I am entering this cutie in the Simon Says show and tell challenge to get messy! Well I must say this technique was deliciously messy.

It's a good life!

I have no idea what the Picket Fence technique is, but I agree that your card looks wonderful - beautiful shading on the flowers and leaves!
