Christ First, last and always

My oldest just finished up her season of volleyball on Tuesday.  Now, I love my kids and love watching her play, but my little one and I both said it was so nice to be home last night.  We both got creative up in the stamping room and LOVED it!

I am entering this card in two challenges.  The first is a new one to me it is called Global Design project.  The challenge was create a card with Green, Black and Gold.  Cece created a card as well, but she isn't done yet, so we will finish tonight and get it posted.  We both thought of Christmas and it was fun to get the stamps out.  This was my fist time using Holiday Green Borders from PTI and the vintage ornaments II dies.  I also used my Paper Smooches have faith for the first time too.
I had to take a close up of the ornaments, you just couldn't see the shine and sheen in the first picture.
I busted out some gold lux paper from papertrey as well.  It feels so good to use some of the supplies I have been hoarding.  It looks different on the back ornaments because I added a layer of black polka dot vellum with glossy accents and it really made them pop.

The second challenge is Word Art Wednesday.  I love playing along when I get a chance.  They are such an inspirational group.  I thought this worked so well for their challenge this week.  That message of remembering all that Christ has done for us is a great reminder in the holiday season.

It's a good life!
