I had such a fun weekend creating, cleaning and getting the house ready for the snow much fun party tomorrow. Yes, I think I will have 10 8 year olds at the house tomorrow for a 3 hour snow much fun party. We are going to rock this!
This is the card I made for the Color Throw Down Challenge. I'm sure you can guess, it was gray, green and lavender. I was so disappointed in the PTI release ordering fiasco that I ended up not ordering anything from them and instead busting out what I have here already. Let's not kid ourselves, I have TON here already. I think I am on a time out from PTI ordering for a while and instead focusing on other companies. One of those is Altenew. I ADORE their flowers and had the best time this weekend stamping away.
Here is what I came up with. The label is another Altenew stamp set that I used glossy accents to cover to add a little something to the sentiment.
Here is a closer look at the background and flowers. I splattered gray watercolor and also some silver to really add some fun to the card. The center of the flowers is liquid pearls silver. It really added a touch and some texture as well. It's a good life!
