Here is my take on the sktech
Isn't that smackin acetate technique a really fun way to make a background. I loved how my sunset sky turned out. I adore all of the different colors and movement I ended up with. I always thought it would be really hard and take a whole lot, but I just needed markers a stampin up box and a water spritzer. If you really want the skivy on how easy this is I really encourage you to check out Stamp TV, Gina has the best tutorial you are going to find.
The rest is pretty easy just some paper piecing for the balloon and crystal effects over the balloon. The bottom is just some dusty durango polka dot ribbon inside out put through a really neat button from Papertrey Ink. Oh, the saying is from the new Papertrey Ink set Everyday button bits. I really love the sayings in that set. I have made one card with it and I think it is going to be stinking fun!
It's a good life!

Wow, this is a really cool card!
You really did use some great techniques! Great card with some great colors and I like the way you made it fit the CPS sketch.
Terri, what a uniquely refreshing blend of colors! Really pretty. Thanks for sharing about the smacking acetate! I'll go check out the video! :)
Great job! Thanks for stopping by my blog, I added you to my blog reader follow list so I can see all your wonderful work. I won't be able to comment on each of your posts, but I will check out your art for sure!

The sketch and techniques combine for a wonderful card! Nicely done =)
What a great card and excellent use of that technique, Terri! I love the sunset mood that is cast by your colors and the use of the CPS composition! I live in wine country and that balloon scene looks like the REAL deal! Magical work!
Very pretty, Terri!
love that balloon...
I'm gonna have to try that smackin' acetate technique. Nice sunset effect. Good idea to have the crystal effects on the balloon, too. I know that the PTI Button Basics set is going to wind up at my house sooner or later (probably sooner -- maybe next week at CHA...). By the way, good idea to use that sentiment for an anniversary card, too!
Beautiful!!!
