Enjoy the ride

Well, I am so excited to get to play along with the Mojo Monday sketch this week as well. Isn't it interesting? I was really drawn to the ribbon on the side. Here is my creation I have been playing around with this ribbon treatment that I saw in the Stampin Up catalog. One of the things I am so excited about is really pouring over my catalog. For some reason now that I know it is going to be around for a year I am taking more time with it. Weird I know LOL! I really like how this one turend out with the DMC floss to tie it off at different intervals.

Another thing I am working hard on is actually using the stamps sets I get more than once LOL! I really want to explore a set fully before I move on the the next latest and greatest. Everything Button Bits is one of those sets. I adore this saying Enjoy the ride and I have been using it a ton on Anniversary cards. Wouldn't you know I have more Anniversary cards to do.

I just got my new Stampin Up order in the mail today. It had among other things tons of new dsp. These colors came from the new Halloween collection. It is in the mini and will be available to purchase for everyone on September 1. Isn't it fabulous!!! I really like the splash of red. It really sets the whole card off.

I punched some 1/2 inch circles from some silver dsp to add to the center of the wheels. I really liked the little punch that added. I finished off the card with some white gel pen faux stiching around the large black backing. I like how it ties in the ribbon.

It's a good life!

Love it!! Since I had embossed my bike when using this set, there wasn't a lot of room for coloring the bike...but I LOVE your red bike!! The ribbon treatment is cool too! Maria

Fabulous card (a winner in my opinion) I just love that bike. I've been picking up the catalog more too, looking for ideas when I'm not at the computer.

FABULOUS!! Reminds me of the little red bike that my daughter has (or had! a few years ago!) :) LOOOVE your ribbon treatment. Can't believe I haven't gone through the catty yet this time and really looked at samples! I'll have to do that! :)

Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving a sweet comment Terri. It brought me over here to check out your Mojo card. Super cute! I'm big into biking so this is right up my alley:) Love your cute ribbon treatment and how you finished the bike tires! Very clever. That's some great Halloween DP. One of my SU pushers (my term of endearment) warned me about how cute everything is in the new mini. I can't wait to get my hands on it! I'm off to check what else you've been up to:))
