Many Thanks!

I am so excited to share some fun news with you today. I was selected to be a Jazzy Inspiration guest designer. It was a ton of fun. Here was the inspiration piece

I also used this fabulous sketch from Mercy. I was so excited when she started doing sketches again on her blog. I know she hasn't stopped, but I didn't follow on the other site for whatever reason, so I can't say how happy I am that she is back LOL!Here is my card The Digi Shack is sponsoring this week at Jazzy Inspirations, this is the first time I have used any digital images. I am not sure I really know what I am doing with that. Let me rephrase, I have no idea what I am doing, but I got this one image to come out in a scale that sort of worked. I was really tying to get it smaller, but this is what I could print. The idea of having images in my computer rather than on my shelf is interesting, but I would need to spend a lot more time figuring it out before I was comfortable LOL! Who knows, this could be my next project :)

After the image was colored in, I used versa mark and then embossed it. After all of that work, I had to add a little green and lighter blue to finish the main image. I then added the fun sentiment and some black brads and paper piercing to tie it all together.

It's a good life!
Terri E.

I just tried my first dig-stamp and the first try I got an image that would have been too large for a scrapbook, but I think I figured it out now.

Great card, congrats on the GDT spot!!!

Today was my first time going digi too, so I understand your frustrations. Either way it turned out beautifully. Great job!

Great card! I am with you on the digi images. It was my first time with them. I need lots of work. I couldn't figure out how to resize mine so what I printed is what I had to work with. LOL At anyrate, you did a wonderful job. I am going to have to check out that sketch site. I am always looking for a new one!
