Believe-Moxie Fab Christmas challenge
Have you been over to the Moxie Fab blog yet? Looks like there is going to be a fun week of challenges and goodies. If you are a slacker like me, you still have to work on the Christmas challenges as well LOL!
This is my creation for the card challenge found here
Here is a close up of the bells.

Okay the origional plan was going to be to keep working on Christmas cards for challenges and then making 4 of that design at a time. Unfortunaltey, I am not getting to my stamping room as much as I thought and I only have 8 done right now, not horrible since it is September, but not great since I have 100 to do. I think mass producing is in my future and I think this beauty will be the winner! It is clean and crisp and it will be light on postage.
I also made this with the Wee Memories CAS challenge in mind. It is really fun to challenge myself to CAS cards. For some reason they take me more time to think of how to make the card sing for me than my more layered ones. I do love the outcome.

ATC Wish Big!!!
Do any of your procrastinate? I am the worst! For example, I have been eyeing this fab challenge over at ATC all month. When do I finally get it done, the day it is due LOL! The challenge was to use the picture below as inspiration and make a shape card that you have never made before.
Here is my card
Okay, I have to admit this was a super hard challenge. The inspiration photo was fine, but the shaped card was a challenge. Not so much doing a shape, but doing one I had never done before. Thankfully I remembered the neat card templates that come in the color couture downloads from Dawn at PTI and then it was a piece of cake for me since I hadn't used these ever.
This was a stinking fun card to make. I have really been enjoying my wood grains background stamp set. It is one of those that I will have and use for a very long time. Did you notice the paper clip and library clip on the card? I thought they added the most fun little accents. This was a tough challenge, but I am super glad I kept at it and got it done in time.

Birthday wrap up!
Please scroll down if you are looking for the blast from the past challenge.
I must say I am so excited to have my baby turn 4! In the same breath, I am so excited to be done with our first big birthday week. It went really well and she had her "best brithday ever!", so we did something right.
This is my favorite shot of our little girl, Izzy. It is so crazy to think she is 4 already. She loves her little sister, all things girly and pink, nature walks, family hugs and just being Izzy! There are a ton of pictures of her friend party, so I will just let you cruise through.
Here is the banner from a fun stampin up princess kit that is now retired, but it is fabulous if you can get it! I have enough for Cece to have a princess party as well.

We just had to have pinkalicious cupcakes. That was a huge theme and she got the doll at this party as well.
I added the fun pink sprinkles as an afterthought, but it still worked out well.
Did you notice the purses earlier? These I made for each little one all out of paper. They LOVED them!!!! I had a good time making them as well. It was a template from PTI and it was worth evey penny.
Lastly, I had to share this fun card.
I am going to be sending this to Mary Sue. She is Addy's grandma and she came to the party. What a blessing for us. She took little Cece and rocked her away so we could get the party going. What a life saver! I can't wait to pop this little cutie in the mail for her.
The last step of our huge birthday extravaganza is Izzy's thank you notes. We are starting that work tomorrow after ballet. Izzy is going to do a lot of coloring on those cuties, so I will share some of her creations this week as well.
It's a good life!

Blast from the past!!!
Welcome Talyored Expression fans! I am so excite to be sharing with you on the blast from the past blog hop. I apparently am so challenge/blog hop minded girl that seems to be the only time I am creating for me right now. We have been super busy with brithday craziness around here and I have so enjoyed this fun creative break.
Here is my card

I used the Chillax stamp set for this fun card. It seems a lot of people can use fun pick me upcards right now in my world, so this was the perfect opportunity to bust this out. I am so looking forward to working with this set more. I am seeing a girls night out card that needs to be created soon LOL!
I used my copics to color the main image and su designer paper. I thought the great umbrella paper was perfect for the fun strawberry margarita! Enough chatter, have tons of fun looking at all of the great eye candy today.

Happy Birthday Izzy!
It has been a whirlwind of a week. Izzy turned 4 yesterday here is her card.
Isn't that fun? It is a big sized card, so she will love it. It is also all about the pink. She is so into Pinkalicious right now. She loves the book and we even have a pinkalicious room LOL. This is our first year with kids coming over for a party, so that is fun as well. We are having a small group of girls (6 including her) that are coming over for a jewerly making party.
I will put a birthday picture up later. She is already up, we have the preschool party today so the fun continues.

My shield and glory
Confession time! Okay this card was started back in August for one of the Viva La Verve challenges! It has been on my desk half finished for quite some time. Clearly I didn't make the August deadline, but then I saw the new challenge on the Verve blog something old and something new. I knew I could finish off this card and make it work for that, but I also wanted to share my inspiration, LOL!
Here was the picture of the bedroom I picked.
The sketch for that week

Okay, a few things here. I wasn't able to get any of the new stamps from the last Verve release, so this is a set from my lateset order (new to me:) and then a set that I already had. The Palsm 3:3 verse is one of my new sets. No one does verses like Verve. They are my go to company for that and I can't wait to add more to my collection. For my "old" set I used Kindred Spirits. It is such a fun set with great elements that can be used as focal points or as background builders as I have done here. to finsih off my card, I used some black bling to fill in some of the white space.

Courage
Before I get to the fun card for the day, I had to share a picture from today. We were getting ready to head out to my nieces 3rd brithday party. It was a lot of fun and we only had some sprinkles, so it was a success! Cece is 3 months old now.
For my card today I used the color challenge from Curtain Call.

What do you think? First when I saw the colors for the week I was at a complete loss! I don't even have the new in colors, so I had to imporvise, but WOW!!! Now that I see the card all done, I am digging this fun card.
I have been seeing a lot about letter press right now, so I took a crack at it. I used the PTI polka dot basics embossing folder. It is so much fun that the dot from the set polka dot basics fits perfectly. All I had to do was add color. It is hard to see the dimension this adds, but it is really neat irl. The ribbon is from a MFT ribbon share. I can't say I have used it ever before, but it was a lot of fun.
Now for the sentiment stamp, this is from the Ippity line of stamps by Unity. I adore this sentiment and the quality of the rubber and stamp is really nice. What do you think? I did sign up to sell it at CHA, but I have really been thinking about it. Do you know anyone who sells it? I could be convinced to be a buyer as well LOL!

Smiles
Have you tried the color couture line from Papertrey Ink? Let's start with the fact that Dawn creates it, so you know it is going to be super fun! The other thing I like about everything she creates is that she always has TONS of cards with that set/color couture pack on her blog.
Here is one of the cards I made, you will see tons more in the days to come.

This card is based off of one of the samples that you get when you buy the pack. Dawn created this card example as well. I changed it up a bit and added my own touches as well. Do you love the glitter flower? I am really trying to incorporate glitter into my projects. It is such an easy way to add a pop of bling. Did I add all of the color courture packs have color combos created by Dawn. They are little embillies that you cut out and then you can whip up a quick and fun project.
