I can't believe I have had such little time to not only craft, but also share. How crazy is that? Here is a little cutie I made a bit ago.
Izzy LOVES this card. Do you see the bling on the dress, that is her idea. She is quite the little card designer. The bellas need some love in my world. So how many of you got fabulous new PTI goodies tonight. I REALLY want well all of it, but thankfully I am holding off. I can wait until the Feb release. Maybe by that time I won't "NEED" it all, LOL!

You're a champion

Well, if my little 5 month old baby could read, she would be getting this card. I made it for SPS World Card Making day and sent it off a few weeks ago, but my little one had surgery to remove a large cyst in her nose. She is a miracle to us! After they took it out, the comment that has resonated from all of the nurses and doctors is we don't know how she ate/breathed with this cyst. WOW, that put it into prespective for us. God is good to have helped out little girl this whole time. I am pleased to report that she is healing and although this will take a while and she is in some discomfort, she is still eating and breathing so much better than she was before, praise God!!!!
I used an uninked bella to make the card. I am a tad embarresed to admit how many bellas I have that have never seen the light of day. What is up with my need to own these cuties, but not use these cuties? I am going to have to bust them out more often.

It's contagious

Well, it is dirty dozen challenge week over at splitcoaststampers this week and this was one of the cards I made that worked for many of them.

I am blessed to be able to go to CHA next week. I am also one of the lucky ones that got into the copic class. Needless to say, I want to practice my coloring some before I go so that I can figure out what are the big things I need to pay attention to.

Threre is also some new DU dsp. I feel in love with this fun paper, but I don't remeber the nane LOL! This is also the first time I used this cutie girl and sentiment from Stamping Bella. I haven't busted into many of those, but hopefully after the copic class I will be super motivated. Also, those super big brads from SU, It worked on this card, but usually I can't make it work.

We are off to the children's museium today, so Izzy is needless to say, ready to go and sick of waiting!

CPS Cutie!

Well I have a fun card to share today. It stated with the challenge to use 5 things from your desk to make a card. If anyone could see my desk you would know I could do this challenge 20 times over and still have too much on my desk LOL!

I acutally had all of these pieces left over from Izzy's birthday invitation last year. Isn't that funny! 9 months later and there is still a pile of left overs on my desk. Note to self, I need to do this much more often! not only did I use this cutie little girl, but it was super quick since all of the coloring and cutting was already done.

3 Cheers for Joanne B!!!!

Well I got some cards done today. Not nearly as many as I would like, but some fun ones none the less. This card was made using the CPS sketch found below. I also did some paper piecing for Joanne B's challenge for her blog candy give away. It is her third year blogging!!!! Isn't that tons of fun?

Now I must say I am happy with everything but the fun turtle. I think he should have been in white and colored with just a fun belly. Izzy was with me this morning and she of course loves the little guy. It will work just fine for her little friends LOL!

The paper is from October Afternoon's Farm Fresh collection. I really like the papers and need to get them out more for sure. Hopefully this will spur me to use more of them. I have no idea why I need to hoard the goods and then forget to use them up? I really need to take stock of my fun bits and get going.

Hugabug

Oh my has it been a busy weekend. We had a celebration for my friend Kim who has breast cancer at age 34. My heart goes out to her and her family.

I was also able to make a card based on a CPS card sketch that you can see below and a challenge from JoAnne. You can find JoAnne challenge here. You could use all of her favorites or pick a few. I think this will also work well for the GKD color challenge this week.

I busted out my watercoloring supplies after seeing her fabulous tutorial on it. I must say letting it dry completely was the key. Can you see what happened when I got really impatient? Yes the little hearts at the side of the image had color that went out.

Hence the pink hightlights on the outside of the hugabug. Another thing you could add was stiching. I have no idea why I am not busting out my sewing machiene, but I went for the faux stiching. It was also tons of fun to pick out some buttons to finish off the sketch.

Happy Birthday Bella!!!!

Well I am so excited to be particpating in the Stamping Bella's 3rd birthday. It is hard to believe that they have been along that long. It seems like only a few months ago that I got my first cutie LOL! As you all know they have expanded their line and I must admit I adore these cute little turtles. Unfortunately I haven't been able to stamp with them until today that is!

Didn't it turn out fun? This is also the first time I busted out the Earth Love cosmo cricket dsp. It was so much fun to use and I have no idea what took me so long LOL! I used the CPS sketch 144 for this creation. I really liked the little bit of texture the frayed ribbons added on the pom poms. The dsp tummy also added a really neat touch. Hope you are enjoying your fun day of Stamping Bella eye candy. I know I sure am!

Super birthday

I had to add a close up of the bling, super fun.

I was itching to break out my Thorougly Modern dsp and use a card based on those colors. I really like this dsp and hadn't used it in a while. Now when you mention bling how can you not think of Bella? This was for a fun friend of mine and I know she will LOVE it!!! I think I am getting better at coloring with my copics, but it is like a sickness as now I "need" more LOL! I added tons of paper piercing and spounging to the card as well.

Big News!!!!

First and foremost, I have been blessed by SPCC and I was asked to host the Finally Friday Challenge there. I will be blessing a random participant with some goodies, so please head over and paly. On that note, I do have the blog candy and will be posting later today.

Onto the fun card. I used this sketch again today from CPS sketches. I combined this with the fabulous Stamping Bella World Card Making Day 80s girlfriend challenge found here.

Needless to say, I was a child in the 80s and I loved all of my animals. I went through my Stamping Bella stamps bound and determined to ink up one I hadn't used yet. Wouldn't you know this worked great for the challenge. I am a farm girl and of course my animals real and imaginary were among my best friends in the 80s. While I can't say I ever dressed them up, I liked this thought.

I also got to take some time to practice my copic coloring. The more and more I play with them the more I decide I really do need to keep using them and I also need to get more colors LOL!

Another fun Scrapmaster's Paradise challenge. Love the fun color combo and the great sketch for Viva La Verve. The twist was to use round things. I adore these fun colors! They are always fresh and definately combos I wouldn't think of. Here is the sketch from Verve
My card Now, I had to break out a fun Bella with that funky color combo. I have enjoyed coloring with copics and feel I have so much to learn. I still don't have the hair thing down with my Bellas. I think I need to fade the edges with the blender pen.

I also got the great vintage labels set from Papertrey Ink and I love the squigly stamp. It added just what I needed in the scallops. The white craft ink really gave the scallops just the right umph. I also added bling to accent the neat design. Can you believe I haven't really played with the great background possibilites yet, but Dawn has me itching to break them out!

Saw it, Loved it, Bought it!!!

I am so excited to share this fun card with you today. I combined 2 great challenges. The first was a new to me challenge called Cinema Saturday Creative Challenge. They pick a movie to inspire your creations every week. This week it was picked out by Gina K and it was Pretty Woman and there was a paper piecing challenge. Isn't that fun?

I am really digging how this card came out. It is hard to see, but I added score lines on the top and bottom for the details in the sketch. When I was thinking about pretty woman and looking through my stamps, I saw this fabulous Bella and thought of the fun scene where she is buying all of those clothes. It just made since for me.

Did you notice the copic work? I am taking a class and learning some more and practicing some more, so hopefully it will get better and better. I also made my lady a red head after dear Julia LOL! Don't you love how the ribbon hangs off as well. I have seen it all over and decided to give it a try. Not sure how it will work in an envelope, but oh what we do for fashion.

CPS Party Time

So excited about finally sharing this card with you! I saw this CPS sketch and new I needed to use it for Izzy's 3rd birthday invitation. She turns 3 on September 15, so needless to say I am way behind schedule LOL! Thankfully it is just family and a few close friends, so they have the date saved so I can be a little behind with the card.

I used this little beauty from Stamping Bella because these little bugs remind me of my sweet little Izzy. I also found this fabulous new challenge blog called Stampin Sisters in Christ and I am so excited to play along for their first challenge. Weekly they are going to put a verse and a challenge up and we are supposed to create a card or page with the challenge. The verse this week is

Then Jesus declared, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty." John 6:35 (NIV)

Your challenge is to make a card that has some sort of food or drink theme. They also had this great interpertation of the verse that I would love to share as well. I took this part as a personal challenge for my week. With everything going on in our family this week, the reminder was so appropriate. So let us not grumble about the things we don't have, but rejoice in the fact that all our needs are met through Jesus Christ our Lord, who IS the bread of life. Eternal life is only possible through Him, who was sent by God. Praise God! Isn't that perfect. Needless to say, I choose this cute little hugabug that I hadn't inked up yet for Izzy's invites.

I used copics from box A & B to color her in. I must say if you want to practice coloring, make 12 of these in a few days for invites LOL! I am now to the point where I "need" box C. Look out copic world here I come LOL!

Need a Hug?

I just had to make another color combo card. It was so neat to see my card on their site, so I had to try again LOL! Here was the color combo from SPCC this week. It was bright and not really my normal colors. Good news about doing so many color combos, I have less and less of a normal!
Sorry the sketch is so small, but here is the sketch. I flipped it for my card. The Viva La Verve challenge is a sketch with a twist. The twist is the border edge punch.

I was feeling like a less is more kind of card. I looked and looked, I wish that I had only orange dsp, but alas none was to be found in my in stack. I am a chronic stamp collector and I have vowed to actually use the stinking cute things that I have. I am more than up for the challenge LOL! I have had this cuttie for some time.

Things aren't going well with Tom. He has no blood flowing to his left leg and they are more than likely going to have to amputate three toes if not more. I know he is in the right place and they will figure it out, but it is so hard not to be able to give my family hugs when I know they need it.

Well hopefully when you read this we are off to "Lordia" as Izzy has lovingly renamed Flordia. We will be staying in Clearwater. I say hopefully because as of Wednesday Izzy still had an ear infection in her right ear. We are going to make the final decision this morning after we see how her night went. She has been on antiboticis since Sunday and hopefully everything will be just fine if we end up going. Needless to say I would really appreciate any prayers you could send out way.

To say that I have created a stamping monster might be a bit of an understatement. As you all know, Izzy was sick for a while and she ended up missing 2 weeks of church. She was pretty tramatized about that and the fabulous teachers sent Izzy a get well soon/we miss you card. She was so excited. She carried it around for 3 days! Here is Izzy, Auggie and Izzy's prized card. Well after she felt better, we had to go up to the stamping room and make thank you cards. Isn't she great. Fortunately I received my prize package from Lori. It had some Bellas and many other goodies including some flowers. I really don't have any flowers so Izzy thought they were the best things ever created.
Here is Izzy's card for her teachers. She picked out all of the colors and it was her idea about the butterflies! She is so stinking cute when she is creating. I am seeing her own stamping table in the near future, LOL!

Of course I had to make a fun card with my new goodies as well. I would have never picked out hippiechickbella, but now that I have her - YUMMY!!!! This was the picture for the Bellarific Friday challenge. Isn't that fun.

Here is my take. I used this Card Patterns sketch from earlier in the week. I wasn't really sure how the Bella challenge would work, so I wanted to make sure I had a card to enter therefore I made 2 cards with the sketch.

Groovy! I tried a few new things on this card. I like visual idea of the paper curled up. I thought it kind of mirrored the look of buttons. I also loved the new ribbon crunching that I learned at Kristing Werner's site (Link on the side). She is so creative and I really like new ways to use my supplies. The dsp was one from my stash, but it seemed to be very 70s and the colors seemed to really match the inspiration piece. I had to stack three dimensionals to pop the main image up enough. It is really tons of fun!

Mojo found! I was having a hard time finding time to stamp this week. Izzy was sick with the flu, so she kept me with her. I think I have seen every Mickey Mouse Culb House made. Thank goodness for DVR. She is on the upward strech today, so that is a blessing. Here is the Mojo Monday #78 sketch.
Here is my take on it.

One of Randy's cousins in North Dakota just got engaged. She called and asked Randy to be an usher and Izzy is going to be a flower girl. How fun is that? When I said something to Izzy about getting to wear a princess dress, she said "I be princess". Wow this is going to be an adventure. Anyway, Marie's colors are black and gold, so that is where the colors are coming from. It is really hard to see, but I did get some new rinestones and that is what is on the ring. It is such a fun punch of bling. Let me know what you think.
