I have a lot of challenges going on with this card. The first one is from There She Goes blog it was to show how far you have come stamping. If I hadn't just cleaned the stamping room, I never would have found this stash of oldies. You are supposed to post one of your first creations and then a recent project as well. I started in 2003 when a friend invited me to her house for a Stampin Up party. I really enjoyed the time with other women and I also liked making cards. I really didn't like giving them away, which is why I was able to find this one LOL!

Next, I got to use some new goodies from Papertrey Ink (I know I just got done saying that I need to use what I have, but a girl can't always help it LOL!). That is a new $15 background set. Isn't that too much fun. I love that the base and the layers are all from the same set, but they have totally different feels. The background on the main layer is my new dazzle versa mark. You can't see the detail in the picture, but WOW!!!! If you love the subtle effect of versa mark, you will love the subtle shimmer this added. It was super easy as well, just stamp.
As I was typing this up, I realized this card will also work for the Stamp TV STVCC9 to use at least 4 colors. I already have an entry, so I hope you can enter more than once LOL.
It's a good life!

Terri, I love how you created your background using different colors. It has such a funky, playful feel to it. Great job!

Beautiful job on both of those cards! I love the kraft background of the second kangaroo and the coloring is great!
