Last Moxie Fab fun

This is my last beauty in the color challenge from the Moxie Fab Blog Okay here is my fun card I was able to whip up tonight. I have emobssed the white background with woodgrain embossing plate from PTI. The fun flowers are from the great $5 PTI set that Dawn did. Again, LOVE the dies that go with these beauties. Really how did I survive without dies LOL! Have a great night! I used the CPS sketch found here for this beauty.

Moxie Fab Neutral Challenge

Well, I only have one of the fablous color challenges done so far, but I do have a day left, so we will see. Here was the neutral challenge
Here is the card I created
This color combo was a strech for me, but I really like the finished project. I took the kraft paper and embossed with clear embossing powder. The matt stack #1 and #4 were used to die cut the main piece. On the #1 die I bused out the matt stack #1 stamp set. Love this fun set. I used the sentiment from Big and Bold sentiments to complete the main image. I love the ribbon element along with the great corner rounder chomper element.

I don't ever get to use the striped ribbon or really I don't ever think to use it LOL! I thought it worked well with this card. The frame was made with lots of PTI dies. This card is on another addition of using the signature serries butterfly set from PTI. I have a few more, but I am submitting them for magazines, so I won't be sharing them for a while.

Color Throwdown

Look at this cutie color combo from Color Throwdown. I just couldn't resist!
Here is my creation.
I have another "thing" I am trying. After reading some new years type posts from other bloggers there is something that really stuck with me. I have tons of stamp sets around my room that have never seen ink. One of those was this fabulous butterfly set from PTI. I mean how stinking cute it this? It really got me thinking. One fellow blogger said she challenged herself to use every stamp set she had. WOW!!!! Not only every stamp set, but every stamp in that set. (I think she said not all of the sentiments needed to be used, but still WOW!).
So my take on this challenge is to use one stamp set for a whole week. Now I have no issues using other sets with it, but it is going to be the main guy in the card. As you guessed it this week I will be using this fun Signature serries:butterfly set from PTI. Hope you enjoy! I am also making myself hold off on ordering more until I have a specific need (Cece's 1st Birthday is my next thing I am creating for). Hopefully I will get some use out of the sets I just "had" to have before I add more to my stash!

You're so fabulous!

I am was loving this curtain call and knew just what I needed to do.
Here is my creation
How much fun is this? this card is 8 1/2 long and 3 3/4 high. Hopefully it will fit into a business envelope. Guess I should have measured before creating LOL! I used the same background image from a fun Verve set with vintage cream ink on each of the color pannels. Hope you enjoy!
I used a Verve sketch, but it was past the deadline by the time I got it up here LOL! I do love those sketches.

PTI January Blog Hop

The challenge
With the new year comes a clean slate along with many resolutions. This month's blog hop challenge involves you challenging yourself to use a Papertrey stamp set that has yet to see ink or even one that might be collecting a little dust! Go through your stash and see what little used treasure it might hold. If you are in need of inspiration for your chosen set, feel free to utilize the gallery posted in the side bar of each set's sale page on our website, or go to the Previous Countdown page here on my blog where each set is organized by month of release. 2011 is the year where what's old is new again!
Here is my creation. I used an old one that I haven't busted out in a long time. Teacher's Apple
Isn't this a beauty? I love the rainbow effect and look this card took on. I used some dsp from Stampin Up to get the dictionary backbround. I bought this set when my oldest was a baby knowing it was perfect and I would have a use for it one day. This is her first year in preschool and I just can't wait to give this beauty to her teacher and the aid.
Have a great night hopping!

Happy Birthday

There is a One layer naked tree challenge out there right now and that got my mind thinking. Although I didn't stay with one layer (I am going to make another LOL!) I did love this cutie and wanted to share it.
I used the tim holtz alcohol inks to create this shimmery wonderful background. It really shines and shimmers.

I have had a fun night of organizing this pit aka stamp room. I will be taking a picture of all of the retired stampin up colors. It is so sad, I think that is part of why I am not a demo any longer.

Balerina girl

I can't believe I have had such little time to not only craft, but also share. How crazy is that? Here is a little cutie I made a bit ago.
Izzy LOVES this card. Do you see the bling on the dress, that is her idea. She is quite the little card designer. The bellas need some love in my world. So how many of you got fabulous new PTI goodies tonight. I REALLY want well all of it, but thankfully I am holding off. I can wait until the Feb release. Maybe by that time I won't "NEED" it all, LOL!

Twine CAS

I adore CAS cards. I don't know about you, but if I can make a cutie that is also time efficient, it makes my day. I found a site called simplicity a while ago and have just now been able to play along. This weeks was to make a one sheet wonder card using yellow. Here is my card
I also busted out some bakers twine for this challenge on Wee Memories. How fun is this cutie. All of the products are either unsed before or barely used LOL! I have had this chocolate twine for a while and it was still in the bag. The stamp set I got in November and am just now busting out this cutie well. The shadow is made with a versa mark pen. Another ignored product. Although I do love buttons, I haven't purchased many SU because I have all of the PTI. Low and behold I just got some in December and as I suspected, I adore them. Hopefully I will be adding to that collection soon.

Dress forms LOVE!

Well I have been on a stamping roll. I am finding such joy in creating for my family and loved one. I used this fabulous color combo from Colour Q
This great sketch that Jenn did SFYTT
Here is my creation
Have I mentioned I am on a spending freeze? Well after I looked at my stamping room I saw that I have the 4 dies and sets that that I "HAD" to have and they haven't even seen ink yet. I am not buying any more until I give everything I have some LOVE! Hopefully you will se some fabulous creations coming from me soon. Oh, I am in love with this fun and fabulous set. This was the one I wasn't even sure I wanted and it was the first I inked up and I am loving it.
This card is for my Mom's anniversay. She loves blue, so this pop of blue felt is perfect for her. Also, she loves jewerly and this button/bling combo looks just like a broach she would have. Adorable. This ribbon is becoming my new favorite love.

Curtain Call Birthday

I am into challenge mode again and it feels so good. I am also working on my birthday/anniversary kick. So far so good. This was for the Curtain Call Challenge Here is my creation
This card is for our friend Bill. My time has been more limited with work and end of the year reports, so quick is important to me. I am also taking back my stamp room from the chaos that is currently is in. One of the things I am working on is getting a grasp of the sets I don't use that much. For example, I love this dots stamp set from PTI, but I don't use it often.
So, for this card I used that set along with birthday bash sentiments to create this clean and graphic beauty. It will also mail out so easily.

Birthday Calendars

Wow, I can't say enough for this years handmade Birthday calendar gift. I ended up making 10 and it was fun and quite enjoyable. I am going to space them out over the next few weeks, so there will be tons of inspiration.
This was a fun one I made for Julie. I adore the bright colors and the fun pop it has.
Here is a close up of the side tag. I don't think I will show these any more, but it makes me smile to see them all matchy and beautiful. On this note, I am back this year to sending out cards for our family. I am sure there will be tons of birthday and anniversary goodness coming your way.
It's a good life!
