Hello everyone! I am so excited to get my last Viva La Verve sketch with a twist card done today. I really like how it turned out. For some reason when I go limited supplies like the twist is, I tend to go with black & white. It really makes a card pop for me. You can find the details for this challenge here you have until Friday the 26th to get all 4 done to be entered to win all of Verve's next release. How fun is that! Get stamping ladies, LOL!
I live in the country, but town is just across the road ( 1/10 of a mile actually LOL). I take all of my pictures outside for the best light I can give them. Well let me just say today was qutie a challenge as the wind was crazy. Here is a picture from the front of the house, as you can see, I really don't have any neighbors which is good accept it also means I don't have anyone to block the wind LOL!
Here is the fun sketch with a twist.
My version.
What do you think? I really like the way it turned out. It is hard for me not to add some bling or some pearls (right on that black strip in the middle, for example!). But the challenge was to use only one accent and without knowing if the cuttlebug counted, I went better safe than sorry. This card is going to be sent out for Jen Tapler's Stampin' Out Alzheimer's Virtual Crop blog candy give away. You really should go and check it out! I am so excited to help out in any way as my Great-grandfather had this disease and it did have an impact on our family. I am off to drop this in the mail to Jen.
It's a good life!

Hey Terri! Fantastic card. Come back and link again - your first link was to someone else's blog, so I had to delete it. I knew you created a card, so I hunted down your blog so I could let you know. Please be sure to come back and link again - I want to be sure you're included in the blog candy giveaway!! (e-mail me if you have any problems - jentapler at gmail dot com)
Thanks so much for participating!!!
