As you read earlier, I am needing to get some sympathy cards and some get well soon cards stacked up. It seems when I need them I either have no time to make them or I am in no mood to make them. Thankfully I had a fabulous Verve new release sketch challenge to work on.
Here is my take on the sketch
I am so pleased to write that I finally like how the corduray buttons worked on my card! This came together quickly once I sat down with my Urban Oasis dsp. I am trying to let my elements work on their own without a ton of extra from me. All I did was stamp the saying on the dsp and then cut out. The satin ribbon is the top black strip it is hard to see in this picture, but it is shinny and fabulous!
It's a good life!

I agree, us Terri's need to stick together! Great job on the Verve Sketch! I love the main image, very classy! The paper and brades are perfect for this card!! Great job!!
Brades?? Sorry, I meant buttons!
I love how you stamped on the DSP. And those buttons are great! Very nice sympathy card.
Love this card! I like how you stamped right onto the dp... it looks like a fantastic sillhouette!
thanks for your wonderful comment on my blog - I love your use of those adorable new corduroy buttons and your card is so clean - I love your technique!
Very Classy card! I love the stamp on the DSP. Great card!
This card is so simple, yet SO effective. It is very beautiful. You commented on my ladybug... Just as a fyi, I used the pick a petal SU stamp set, stamped the petal, but them out, and stuck them on a scalloped circle... Very simple to do. You can use any larger flower as well to make the bug, though Pick a Petal is the only polka dotted petal I have seen thus far (but i'm still sheltered!)
Gorgeous, love the colours and the buttons!!!
Thank you for visiting my blog and your comment. This is a woozer of a card! Love the buttons and how you did the circle. I will be lifting this cars!!
