Better Late than never!

This card was made and done, but I had some major technichal difficulties with Picasa 3. I love Picassa, so this was a bit of a shock. Why is it the simple things we take for granted are the most frustrating when they don't work. I ended up uninstalling and reinstalling and we are back on track. So Here is my fun Taylored Expression Taylored Expressions Cupcake Challenge 59 sketch.

Here is my version
My sweet daughter who has been pretty sick has the heart of a helper and giver. Before she got sick, we were talking about two of our friends who got hurt. One little boy who is turning 3 in a few days has Lukemia (she has no idea what that is and we don't try and tell her we just say he dosen't feel good) and another little boy who is 4 broke his left leg and is in a cast for a while. We were talking about being hurt and letting others know we care about them. I asked her what could we do to let our friends know we care. She had no answer. I then asked what makes you feel better when you don't feel good and she quickly answered COOKIES! LOL!!! So we made some cookie batter and ended up freezing it. The plan was to give the families premade cookie dough ready in balls ready to pop in the oven. It is ready to go and as soon as we are all healthy, we are going to deliver them to the families.
Anyway, I really like how this turned out. I love the tough cookie sentiment that can be found in Melaine's set Have a Cookie. Could it be more appropriate for our little boys who are hurt? I also just got some fun new paper from Stampin Up and I am loving it as well. It finally has me breaking out the pacific point ribbon Yeah!!! Perhaps I will get the sketch for this week in on time LOL!
It's a good life!

The card and reason for it are so sweet! You are certainly bringing up a sweet little girl who is already thinking of others.

Now I want cookies....
