Last Mother's day card LOL!

Don't forget about the chance to win Papertrey Ink's Background Basics: Retro. Get the details here.

Wahoooo!!! This is my last Mother's Day card I have to make this year. I still have some projects to complete, but the cards are done. This card is for Amy my fabulous sister-in-law. This is why there is no "Happy Mother's Day" so to speak. She has two children and one has autism. She is so giving and wonderful so I just wanted to let her know how appreciated she is!

This is for Dawn McVey's 2nd Color Challenge. She is so stinking cute and her color combos rock the house. I had so much fun last week I had to play again.

Here is my take

I wanted to do an SU only card. Can you believe that I am SU demo and this just might be my first SU only card on my blog LOL! Good thing this is my fun for me hobby. Isn't this fun? I just had to stich the edge to match the fun stiching on the ribbon. I do have a small tip for the white gel pen SU sells. It wasn't working for me and I almost had it out with the pen. I went to the bathroom and put the tip under really hot water for 30 seconds. It seems to have worked! This was so easy to do now. I also really liked how the bling turned out in the flowers. Have a good night!

It's a good life!
Terri E.

Wow- I just left this really long comment signed in on my husbands account (twice it's late that's my only excute). So you'll see two deleted comment.

Great tip on the pen. I was just getting frustrated with mine tonight. I'll have to try that.

I do think Dawn is rocking the color challenges! I need to get on mine. I love this card! Those flowers are perfect!
