What's Chirping Idol Fans???

I am loving all of my new My Favorite Things VIP sneak peek stamps set I got this last week. It is fabulous and just what I needed for a fun spring boost. It is called hanging with my peeps and it is delicious! I used it for my entry in the MFT Idol contest. Can you even believe how creative they are over there. I mean really an Idol contest too much fun. I started with this fabulous sketch Mojo Monday #76.

Here is what I whiped up

Isn't this fun! I even made my own background paper so it matched the chicks with a glue pen and yellow fun flock. Didn't it add quite a bit of dimension to that layer. It ended up with quite a bit of paper piecing to add some interest and dimension. The black, yellow and white seemed to really make this card pop. Can you see the pearl necklace. LOVE IT!! My daughter was the inspiration on that as she is all about the bling LOL! She is just 2 1/2 and already she is giving me fashion advice.

The competition side of this is so nerve wracking! All of the entries are ROCKIN! I am just excited for the opportunity. Well, we are off to church soon. Thanks for looking.

It's a good life!

I love this card! The background paper you made almost looks like there's a bush or trees behind her. Nice work.

Thanks for stopping in at my blog!
